CROSSWIND XUV or TOYOTA INNOVA????

guys please help me decide which one to choose? we are about to buy a car.and im having a hard time. can someone please help me decide? what are the prons and cons of buying a CROSSWIND or INNOVA? it will be for a private use and brandnew and automatic.. thanks a lot

Innova E A/T Diesel is P1.033M vs. Crosswind XUV A/T Diesel is P1.092M.
Horsepower, Innova is 102PS while XUV is only 85PS.
As for vehicle size (LxWxH), Innova is 4580 x 1770 x 1755 vs. XUV with 4730x1770x1900

hi just to share my observation and experience....


innova diesel crosswind xuv

comfort/car like ride tested durability

nice interior can be repaired by ordinary mechanic

speed 'old fashioned' interior

both are fuel efficient. for me i'm not bothered by innova crdi issues since

i think its not that many considering the volume of sales that toyota has.

sa dami na lang ng benta ng innova kaya parang marami ang may issues.


i think naman both are durable but yung crosswind tlagang tested na. as early as the late 80's gamit na yang engine ng isuzu. sa crdi ng toyota naman we'll see thru time what happens. pero kapalit naman nun comfort, speed, fuel efficiency and walang huli sa smoke belching kasi hindi mausok.

its up to you. if you have the budget to change cars every lets say 5 to 7yrs go for the innova. if naman gusto mo lifetime go for the crosswind. pag tiyagaan mo na lang yung bagal niya and usok

me personally i'll go for the sportivo ang gwapo kasi ganda ng tindig. and budget ko pang lifetime ride.

tama po,, innova can give u its priority-speed,comfort.. but if u want a sure win reliability of engine,durbaility in times of extreme conditions, for part time business, fuel efficient, go for isuzu crosswind.. e kung may 18 seater na crosswind-van tatalunin nya sa patibayan ang urban at hi ace eh...lamang lng nung 2 is more passengers

I actually like both the Innova and the Crosswind. But since the Crosswind has an old-school engine with an all-mechanical injection pump this would be my choice because it's easier to repair without too many sophisticated technical resources

Sir parang bagay tong thread na ito sa Car Comparisons hehehe! There are alot of comparisons about this, try what sir number001 said or you can use the Tsikot Forums Google Search located somewhere above ^.

As for my suggestion, if you are going to get an Innova get the one with VVTI engine, dami problema ng D4D ng toyota eh (see the "list of d4d problems" thread), mag manual ka na lang po tapos get the crosswind. hehe reliable naman engine ng isuzu eh.

thnaks a lot guys..oh sorry im not really aware that this is for comparisons thread like that..anyway,my father likes the isuzu crosswind..walang nagawa ang pagkukumbinse ko to get the toyota innova..i hope we will not experience such problems with isuzu crosswind..

^ It's ok sir! Normal lang din yan lalo na pag bago sa isang forum, masasanay ka din hehe! Nako hindi ka magsisi sa reliability at tibay ng makina nito, compared sa innova which i doubt because of the D4D engine problems, at isa pa isuzu diesel naman yan, yun nga lang hindi yan kasing bilis ng innova and or other CRDi engines out there. But it will bring you from point A to B haha, Update sir about sa makukuha niyong crosswind ha! Ahahaha good luck and drive safely!

Walang problema ang crosswind, mabagal lang talaga siya. Yun lang. ;) Very reliable ang crosswind, mura pa repair. :D
