Btw thanks for your reply in my initial query sir. As to the rear lamp codes, sir Aaronix made a complete list of our light codes a few pages back, but here is what i have in the screenshot i got: inner park: t10 or w5w; reverse: T15 or w16w; brake: 1157 or p21/5.

So noticeable po pala talaga ang improvement over stock bulbs ng mga headlights natin. Sensible upgrade nga kung sakali.

No problem paps. Thanks for the input as well.

I am eyeing PY21W 581 OSRAM LED 12V Retrofit Amber BAU15s 7557YE-02B Bulbs for my turn signals and OSRAM P21/5W LED Bulbs 1557R-02B 380 Retrofit BAY15d Red for the stop/tail lights.

Will they fit same as 1157 and 1156?

Ok naman sa akin stock lights pero for improvement purposes lang. Maraming salamat po sa mga tutugon.

As for my mux I am planning to have them with Philips Crystal Visions... got the HB3s already still waiting for the H11s.

Guys, please let me indulge you with my experience with "high performance" halogen bulbs. I have tried most of the expensive halogen bulbs from PIAA, Osram, Sylvania, and Philips, even LEDs. It will only improve color and brightness by 10-15%, nothing more. The only way to drastically improve forward lighting is by doing a proper HID retrofit. The problem lies with the halogen projector having fluted translucent lens.

Here is my headlight done by Xenon Concepts (check fb) Stage 2 setup for Php 10k. You have the option to add angel eyes or demon eyes for a little extra Ks. I did not opt for those as I don't think it will fit my car's Aussie theme. With this upgrade, you will intensely light up 4 lanes of road in front of you. That wide! 😎 The shop will also clean your headlight and reseal it properly so it will not fog up. So far I don't have any issue with my hid retrofit.

On to the photos of my lighting setup:

Fogs only- Philips Xtreme Vision LED 2700K - got it from Chu Eng for Php7.5k (Check fb) notice the sharp cutoff

    Lowbeams+Fogs

Attaching video for you to appreciate the cutoff and intensity:

Please try to backread or use the search function. The best auxillary LED bulbs that I am currently using for the MUX are Sylvania Zevo LEDs for the brake and turn signals, Philips Xtreme Vision LEDs for park, plate, interior, and reverse lights. You can get them locally from Tailgaters MNL (check fb).

Sir aar0nix. Thank you for sharing this. It saved me some money. I was targeting to have the bulbs upgraded at the end of the year. But from reading this I'll stick with the stock bulbs until they need replacing. I am reluctant on getting HID retrofits, had a bad experience with them.

With clear tints, the stock bulbs are enough for my regular night drives. Only fault with them is that the low beam is not aligned. There was a irregular horizontal light at the middle area, I think the casa fixed it during my last pms.

Out of topic: Is that an easydrive sticker?

According sa Service Adviser (Isuzu Makati)

To fix the issue that the outside air (pag sobra may amoy sa labas, Usok/farms etc.) coming inside the cabin even if re-circulate is selected sa AC unit.

It will take 2 days. Tatangalin yung buong dash to re-seal some part of the air intake.

    Is this true?

Medyo nakaka alangan pa naman mag iwan ng unit ngayon sa casa, with the circulating video ng fortuner na ginamit ng mga tauhan ng casa.

    Thanks.

    * sir Aaronix, thank you rin sir. Mukhang mas maganda nga ang magpa-retrofit na lang kesa palit bulbs lang.

Who did your previous retrofit? Never had any problems with my retro so far. Been using it on and offroad too. Sometimes there is light moisture when it rains hard, but that is normal even on stock headlights because of the breather. It eventually dries up after an hour or so after the lights are turned off.

Stock bulbs will last for 3.5-4years, depending on usage. The feint horizontal beam above the cutoff is what we call squirrel spotters. It helps us see reflective roadsigns at night.

That is an RFID sticker for SLEx/Skyway/NAIAx.

Yes, you won't regret it. As long as you take it to a good hid retrofit shop.

    True.

Sayang oto kung bago pa. Usually, there is like dozens of nuts and bolts that needs to be remove sa pag baklas ng dash. Sa reassembly, one of a few may be left out or maluwag torque, which can cause rattle problems naman in future. Not to mention broken clips or panel scratches along the way...

    In short, madevirginize na sya.

Well, that's bad news for me. I can't allot that much for my headlight upgrade.

You can buy a 1.4M car but you can't spend Php 10k for better lighting? 😂

It was done by xenonoptics?? (not sure, based this on an old Facebook post Y2011 lol) I went to a shop (looks like a residence) in atok street, near banawe. I can't find their web page anymore.

My issue was a little over a year, 3 of the angel eyes are no longer working and there was a small cracks on the lens of the projector.

    [

I'll use the funds for the bulb upgrade and add it for the nudge and rear bar. (wife approved )
