The new MU-X (LSA) will be delivered po this afternoon (yehey!), any tips on what else I should check, aside from the odometer? Ano nga po pala yung ibang stuff na kelangan i-check na hindi part of the car itself, aside from keys (2 sets, I guess), manual, freebies (mat, seat cover, EWD, tools)? Does it come with a tumbler na swak sa cupholder? Thanks po.

Tire presure, malamang nasa above 40 PSI yan, pa set mo sa between 29 to 32. silipin mo maigi yung mga tint baka may mga uwang sa gilid-gilid, pa rework agad. haplusin mong maigi yung pintura baka may gasgas na itinago lang sa wax. yung handbrake baka konti lang kumakapit. i don't think na nagbibigay ng EWD at tools (except sa pantanggal ng reserva), unless free yan ng bangko or kung inhouse. check na din ang mga ilaw, back sensor, camera, paano i set ang MID, radyo, at hingin mo yung fuel voucher. at wala na ako maisip.

Congrats sir sa bago mong sasakyan. Enjoy.

on my opinion, red garnet on display is not so impressive with the that black trimmings, especially on the front ... honestly my excitement for having the red garnet subsided,
might replace it with the pearl white or the black.

    Mga Boss,

I've been back reading for days from this forum and learned a lot with MUX. We are about to buy a new SUV and we are very much 95% decided to get LS-A 3.0 MUX from choices of all new Everest, Montero, Fortuner, Trailblazer including all new Innova. Our reasons ...

    1. Easy to maintain
    2. Parts availability
    3. Rideability/Suspension
    4. Cabin Space
    5. FC (naka dagdag through reading)
    6. DVD (for kids)

Ung bang "tug" sound sa right front suspension, common issue po ba un?
Should I wait for the new 3.0 (BluePower) engine?
San NCR dealer po kaya magandang makipag transact?

P.S. Sa mga agent, you can PM me for offers (Cash or Bank PO only)

actually MU-X was our first choice kaso old model na yung engine niya and euro-2 pa lang kaya ibang SUV yung kinuha namin which is euro-4 na. lalo ngayon na pinupush through ng DTI na dapat euro-4 compliant na (although alam natin how our gov't works here. hehe). Kung makakapaghintay ka ng newer engine, mas okay siguro. pero kung hindi na, try Isuzu Pasig and look for Bea (forgot her last name, basta chinese siya hehehe). maayos kausap and sa kanya sana kami kukuha ng unit.

you can also set a sched for a test drive para mas makatulong sa pagpili mo

Maybe only some units like mine have it. Baka masyado lang akong sensitive sa ganun pero iba talaga yung sound parang holen na inalog sa bakal. Kahit engineers ng IPC can confirm it. But still, no resolution from IPC.

Transact with any Ayala Owned dealer (Pasig, Alabang, Cavite, Rizal). Very professional naman sila.

Isuzu's 4JK1-TC and 4JJ1-TC engines are clean burning diesels, no need to worry about Euro 4 compliance. Kung maghihigpit sila, retrofitting a diesel particulate filter (DPF) will be needed. But goodluck naman, jeepneys and 1980s buses nga di nila ma regulate regarding emissions, private vehicles pa kaya? 😹

I suppose you are right sir Aaronix. It'd be much easier to impose Euro 4 fuels than for the government to insist on Euro 4 engines. Mine is Euro 2 still even if it was purchased this Feb. so theoretically the engine should have been Euro IV compliant already.

Btw, solved na yung mysterious sound from the second row seats. I just had to firmly seat on it and after hearing a click sound, from under the seat nawala na yung slight kalampag. Di lang ata gaanong connected/anchored yung mga seats.

Thanks for the info sir, will contact Bea soon.

I don't worry much about Euro 4, but one thing I've noticed, only few or "nobody" have done EGR blanking on their MUX kulangot proof ba ang isuzu engines? sa montero/fortuner parang recommended nila eh

Basically additional expense lang and DPF to maintain, especially kung palagi city driving.

I guess the kalampag issue is an isolated case. I noticed also that there are rattles inside if the second row seats are stowed.

Di ko alam sa Isuzu GH, nung pumunta ako dun to check if they have a display unit around Nov 2014, Nobody approached me. Andun lahat ng ahente sa 2nd floor nagkukubli. 😹

No need to blank the EGR. We love the environment. Pag blanked EGR it will cause higher NOx emissions. Cleaning lang every 30k kms. I will clean mine soon, 29k kms na ako. Will post how to do it here.

Yes DPF needs regeneration. Pag masyado na mainit halos useless na din ito. Pag nasira, dun na sasakit ulo!

Yea isolated but still never experienced this with any of my other cars. I hope they can resolve it soon. Hindi naman sya nakaka apekto sa performance, but the sound is quite annoying whenever going through humps.
