September 5th, 2008 05:57 PM #1Hi guys, I bought a second hand 98 trooper (lotus). I've had it for the last three weeks. Everything's ok. Performance is as expected, except having my EGR blanked (all it took were too bearings to block the suction from the EGR... thanks Denso), all is actually well.
I noticed that the stock lights I had was not too bright, so I had a couple of osrams 100w installed. It got better but still comparing to other cars, it was still not enough. I don't have front tints but it looks like my windshield is a little smoked so it doesn't help as well.
Anyway, I've thought of having an HID conversion. My friend told me that I won't benefit much from it since my headlights are frosted. Is it true? I'm sure there are a couple trooper owners out there that has converted theirs already. I would appreciate if you can share me your thoughts and experience.

September 5th, 2008 06:20 PM #4Thanks sir for the reply. I've tried searching for a crystal version for our headlights or baka may nagrereplace ng glass niya kaya and convert them to a crystal.

May problema bang ganoon pag ibang kulay ang ginamit aside from bluish white?

how about using relay and thicker wires? then use all weathers or osram night breaker or philips xtreme bulbs. stock watts but 80-90% more... then a general cleaning on the headlights too... improve mo na rin ground niya.
