No word yet from Isuzu Philippines as to when's the exact date the new D-max RT-50 arrives in Philippines, however, it's DEFINITELY heading to the 2013 Dakar Rally January next year ;)

DAMN! That's more horses than a modern 3.0V6 gasoline engine and more torque than a modern 3.0V6 diesel engine! Is the stock D-Max in the video the one with the 180hp/380Nm 4JJ1-TCX engine? That's still very good performance considering that everything is stock and it was thrown around and jumping up and down in a rally track.

Now I wonder... stock 180hp engine + chip + K&N intake + big front mount intercooler upgrade + exhaust upgrade = ???

as Isuzu Philippines said on earlier reports regarding the release of new model, manufacturing/assembling LHD units in Thailand plant would depend on demand... but based from this picture, it's an LHD unit... if this particular unit came from Thailand plant, then we will be seeing the all-new model coming sooner than what we are expecting, like a year later or more... but not crossing my fingers, baka mangalay ka kakahintay... hahaha

O.T.: we are hoping for the new Alterra to come out since the new Chevy Trailblazer is out... my parents are hunting for a new diesel SUV...

I just saw the advertisement of isuzu on motoring today. It says that they will be having an event at MOA this coming november 8. There is a new dmax called special edition. Somehow similar to the picture in this thread.

Di ko sure pero misleading yung advertisement nila kanina Sa motoring today. Naka background picture yung same dito Sa thread pero pag Sa website nila, parang yung luma parin at yung Sa feature vehicle kanina Sa same show same pa din Sa luma yung looks pero crdi.

The update prolly is it won't be offered in Philippines and that there's no way it will make it there. Isuzu Phils is the laziest company I have ever seen.... Sorry for such remark, but it's true. The new Alterra is released yet again but it's still the same banana.

I've seen the RT-50 Dmax, now on sale here in Australia, heaps and heaps. But honestly, I still prefer the looks and simplicity of the previous one, the one with the bonnet scoop.
