    I used havoline Energy 5-30w after mga 3000 km check ko ang oil level nasa 1/4 level na ang oil ko...Tanong ko sa casa maiinit lang daw talaga ang 4jx1... after 3 months nag leak ang cylinder rubber gasket city driving lang naman...after 4 years 55,000 Km I accepted na LEMON talaga ang trooper ko. meron na sound ako naririnig na di ok.. no way gagastos ako ng 40k for the injectors lang kaya benta ko na. Sakit talaga sa ulo.

    akala ko talaga ang solid ng 2000 Tropper.

    ryt now asa casa un sasakyan..sa mon or tue pa malalaman kung ano talaga prob and ano dapat palitan..sabi either un injectors daw or un turbo ang nagkaprob

    ever since di ginamatan ng replacement ng fuel flter n oil flter un sasakyan.un gnagamit un sa isuzu pa din para talgang sigurado.un oil lang na gnamit un pinalitan.

    if ever un injectors talga un may problem, un way lang ba na maayos un e palitan talga un, wala na bang ibang paraan?

    medyo wala kasi ako tiwala sa casa e, sa may isuzu sa otis ngayn un sasakyan..

    Isuzu Manila yan dyan din ako nag pagawa dati Val ang name nung SA pwede ka bumili ng parts sa Walco or sa kanila pero sa Walco ka nalang bumili may discount.Pabantayan mo sa taong pinagkakatiwalaan mo habang pinpalitan yong parts kasi baka luma ang ikabit.

    use the correct viscosity na oil & change fuel/oil filter (go for the orig) will solve big part of this problem. Secondary fuel filter ok din coz marumi nga diesel natin dito. Madali lang ipakabit yan sa mga suking talyer niyo. Have several customers also using BD on their 4jx1.

    Have you been changing your coolant every 20k kms?
    One cause of trooper problems is the injector sleeve seals give way. There are 2 sleeve o-rings per cylinder that keep the water, fuel and oil apart. If one fails then you'll have them mixing. Rust forming (from old coolant) around o rings can cause them to fail. Suggest you have sleeve seals replaced at 60k km regardless of oil, coolant used.
    Injectors and rpcv can be tested thru tec2 diagnosis. They usually replace injectors, if not within spec, since they remove them to get to sleeve o rings.
    Replaced injectors, sleeve orings, rpcv at 65k km before it went bad. My friend's car failed at 60k km, faulty sleeve o rings.

    yup kakapalit lang ng coolant nun ng pinaservce sya for 60k km...

    pumapayag ba sa isuzu manila na pumasok sa loob ng gawaan nila un mga customers?kasi sa isuzu q. ave ayaw e..di ko din makita un gnagawa nila.

    baka tom tumawag na un isuzu para sabhin kung ano ba talga nanyari dun..tapos iinquire ko na lang din dun kina doc diesel kung pede sakanila pagawa un..tapos kung ok sabihin ko sa dad ko dun na lang.wala talga ako tiwala sa casa

    I had mine done at Isuzu Pasig, highly recommend them. I would visit daily to see what work was done- they have trained mechanics that know what they're doing.

    I called a Bosch center (central diesel), they don't repair these injectors.
    Since our injectors were sourced from caterpillar, i visited Monark and asked them if they repair 4JX1 injectors. They can't repair them nor carry a replacement part.

    I think sa Singapore pa dapat ipadala injection pump ng 4JX1. That is why I sold my 2003 Trooper after the warranty expired. Natakot ako sa possible expenses when I heard that this engine is problematic.

    Haven't dealt with isuzu manila nor makati but isuzu alabang, pasig, cavite are owned by the same group- Ayala.
    Ask for a copy of the tec2 diagnosis, printout will show if the injectors are within spec or not.
    Is your trooper a euro 2 or 3? The injector sets are different.

    anu un rps? and ano din pala no. ng walco?tnx

    pano ba malalamn if euro 2 or euro 3? 2003 model un trooper.un skyroof editiopn nila.

    Think they mean RPCV- rail pressure control valve, it maintains the high fuel pressure needed by common rail. Usually replaced together with injectors.
    Sensor? ask them to specify which sensor.
    Ask casa if you have euro 2 or 3, they had both in 2003.
    Check out Jayson auto for parts, look them up in the yellow pages.

    un casa binbgay ng 50k un tatlong parts(injectors,rps and rpcv) for 50k..good deal na ba un?pano ko masisigurado na bnew un parts ng bibigay ng casa?pano icheck kung bnew un mga items na un..tnx

    medyo duda ako kung san kukunin ng sa casa un parts.kasi ng ako nagtanong sabi out of stock daw sila ng mga parts na un..

    nwayz nagtawag na din ako sa iba pang pedeng kuhanan ng parts.. un isa kong natawagan sabi 48k+ daw un injectors den 8K+ un rpcv, pero humirit sya sakin na may makukuhanan daw sya sa planta ng mas mura nun.. tapos e2 kinakausap nya un kasamahan nya habang nasa fon pa ako di nya tinakpan un speaker nya..sabi ng kasama nya pede daw for 35k un injectors n rpcv..tapos hirit nya sa kasamahan nya an mura naman daw nun, tapos sabi ulit ng kausap nya e 40k..tapos ng sinabi nya e 42k daw un dalawa..ayun if ever dun ko kukunin un parts tatawaran ko na lang..hinihintay ko pa kasi un pricing ng kabarkada ng kaibigan ko ng nagtratrabaho dun sa planta ng isuzu e

    dapat bantayan mo yan pag nag install sila ng new parts dami racket sa casa.

    swerte pa yun sayo umabot ng 6ok kms meron nga sa isuzu batangas before naka junk kc tumirik sa star highway 1 week palang gamit ng may ari pinalitan bago unit kaya yun naka junk na trooper pinepyesahan na lang.
