Actually that reason is quite funny. Whether buo ang leather or cut into small parts, the leatherette consumption remains the same. There is no cost difference.

From a very bad Experience, just make sure the that the shop had already installed leather seats/seatcovers on the same car( on a number of same cars to be sure) without any issues. I had posted already here, got my front seats warranty void because of one of the shops in alabang did not properly ( or they had no expertise) in installing the seatcovers.
Would not hurt, if you do some investigations if they had really installed successfully on similar cars before you decide to trust to them your upholstery.

^ Here is the deal regarding warranty. Do not have new cars installed with providers that are not accredited by the CASA or car dealers. If the car dealers know and accredits a certain car upholstery company, the warranty would not be an issue. At the same time, you can always refer it back to the converter. After all, they also do the very same thing with the car dealers.

Secondly, there are vehicles equipped with special safety sensors and these are very expensive to alter or fix. If the shop does not have an experience in installing cars with technical specs, I strongly suggest that you have your car done in a shop that knows how to.

It is a very delicate balance and it is also a risk. But a balance between conversion and warranty care can be achieved.

TIA.

^ You would need to have that part replaced. It would not cost much anyway because the material is not expensive. But I suggest that you have that part (seat carpet) replaced because it would be a sore spot especially for your new innova.

Kung small tear, you can hand stitch it. Most girls in elementary level have sewing in Home Ec, baka may kilala ka.

Pwede din sa sapatero or sa sastre whichever is more convenient.
