    Just buy enough transparent plastic sheet (same type used to cover school books) to cover your chosen area to be covered. Then it is just a matter of wrapping your carpet with it.

    Usually divisoria has guys selling it by the meter. Most school/office supply stores would already have the plastic sheet pre-cut in 1 or 2 meter lengths.

    sa akin naman.... ang hirap ata nung naka plastic ang interior carpets lalo na pag maputik.
    mas ok na lang siguro na hwag kumain at uminom sa loob ng oto.
    and kung maaksidente.... ipa shampoo na lang and blowdry.

    or maglagay ka ng rubber mats sa ibabaw ng carpet.

    the carpet is there for a reason. it traps dirt and dust so that it will not circulate in the cabin..

    Moisture will be trapped inside. It will end up stinking after a few months. Sayang yung P3.5k nung officemate ko na nagpalagay sa city nya. He ended up removing them then interior detailing para mawala yung amoy kulob.

    If you really want to protect your carpets and seats, use a product like 3M Scotchgard or 303 High Tech Fabric Guard. More expensive, but you won't have the issues mentioned above.
