If the scratched surface is textured (e.g. satin finish or matte or faux leather), then there's nothing much you can do.
However, if the surface is polished/shiny, then you can easily fix the problem by using a plastic polish like PlastX.
(NOTE: don't ever attempt this on textured surfaces. it will make the problem worse.)
