    Yes, light dab of carpet shampoo can and will rub it off. Then dry it by using vaccum.

    You can also try Eagle One ZAP Spot Remover. Readily Available in most Hardware chains. Very good for interior cleaning like headliners, dashboards, vinyl trims and door panels.
