-the seat "stains" is fresh upholstery cleaner. hehe.
took me 6 bloody hours. ceiling then plastics then carpet and seats.
I used AL's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner and Meg's APC 1:4 dilution, a couple of sacrificial MF's, a soft toothbrush, and a shoebrush with soft bristles.
post notes:
1) megs APC was not able to remove all the plastic stains, might need hot water or a degreaser for those areas...
2) the carpet cleaner dried quickly and made short work of the ceiling and carpet stains. cheap too (219 pesos for 500 mL), but I could feel that it was caustic.
3) used up around 800 mL of the APC solution, and around 400 mL of the carpet cleaner
4) need to bring more MFs, damp microfiber cloths tend to smear the dirt across plastics than picking them up.
5) the downside to the shoebrush was the fibers were black - made it hard to see if they were getting soiled, but it worked well enough. hehe.
6)note to self: never get a car with a beige interior
