May 29th, 2008 01:43 AM #2I don't want to offend other car owners who already bought copy seats. But if you were to ask me i would not even think about buying a fake/copy when it comes to car seats. Katawan mo ang nakasalalay dyan especially your back which is the most stressed part of your body when driving. If your looking for a reclinable sports seats i would suggest hanap ka na lang ng mga 2nd hand na recaro from civic type-r or sa evo, sa for sale i saw a few sparco bucket seats.

Branded racing seats like Bride, Sparco, Recaro, etc is a must if you are really into circuit racing. The primary function of these bucket seats is to keep the driver firmly planted when taking high speed turns.
In my opinion, if you are getting a 'copy branded' one just for the daily drive then I believe that it's perfectly alright. I bet that even if they are just merely replicas, it would be hard to break them.
Four point harness seatbelt with center release button? If you can figure out a way how to bolt it on behind your driver's seat, most likely on the floor, and won't cause any inconveniences for your rear passengers then it should be fine.
A bit uncomfortable but fine.

^^^ Saw this one today, sells for 15k a pair, reclining type:
I think that the sitting height is lower than most OEM seats.
