3rd row seats for sorento

hi! i'm new here.

we bought a kia sorento last week because we could not wait for a fortuner any longer. we're very happy about it except that it does not have 3rd row seats. do you guys know if there's a shop here in metromanila that can fabricate this for us?

hmmm.. . dont know if they can but seatmate in mandaluyong fabricates the third row seats for the pajero. . try searching for their number somewhere in the forum

Korean Sorentos can be had with third seats as well as all necessary hardware (seatbelsts, etc.).

di ba medyo masikip na pag lalagyan 3rd row seat sorento, same with crv, fortuner and innova, medyo uncomfy na 3rd row... lalo na kung malaking tao uupo sa likod, ok lng siguro if you have kid tapos me yaya ka like 5" - 5"3' taller than that would be a bit uneasy already...

The Sorento's third row seat IS designed for children.

Same as the third row seats for Volvo and Mercedes wagons.

Yung sorento ng friend ko imported na variant may third row pero pangbata lang ang kasya o pang short trips lang kasi masikip. Maybe pwede kang magorder sa kia sigurado meron sila nyan.

yes, i saw the third row seats of a sorento in one of the threads. i think it was greg_g's. something like that would be fine with us.

i requested our agent to ask their plant (columbian) if they can import this part for us. i'll tell her next that this could be a good comeon for other buyers who put some degree of importance on 3rd row seat option even if they're just for kids or small adults.

she said the imported sorento with 3rd row seats has a different configuration than those which are sold thru authorized kia dealerships here in the philippines. the legroom of the 1st and 2nd row has been reduced a little so that the 3rd row can be accommodated.

i'm not really sure about this. can anyone confirm? sir gregg_g?

from my observation.

medyo mahirap i retrofit ang 3rd seat to the current 2 row Sorento. may abang nga pero medyo mahirap lagyan... talagang customized kpag ganito.

Not really, still the legroom size 1st and 2nd row is basically the same, been able to compare a sorento unit w/out 3rd row. But you can move the 2nd row further to the front to increase 3rd row legroom. But again, 3rdrow is really cramped and once you use it, you don't have any baggage any more..

altho the 2nd row seat in our unit can fold flat on the floor to give space for more cargo, it does not have any forward-backward seat adjustment.
does your unit have this type of adjustment for the 2nd row? as in, does it have a slide mechanism under it?

i'm not really worried about the cramped space if we use the 3rd row because we will just put there our small kids and i intend to use a roof rack for cargo.
