This black smoke issue with D4D was one hot discussion with Toyota personnel last TMP tour. TMP Technical VP on Customer Service asked the lady complainant to bring her car to the Sta Rosa plant. Ayos na kaya Innova nya? Any feedback?

hi ma'am liv,
how about the choking / hard starting / engine shuts down automatically? how many from the members experienced this/these and how often?
did you ask toyota about these problem during your plant tour?
any statistics or ilan ang ppm?

btw, i also own a 2007 innova E d4d. di lang ako makapag-join sa club kasi malayo ako sa manila. so far, i haven't experience any problem with my innova. my brother also own 2005 innova and he didn't experience any problem since.

Usually, black smoke are due to poor diesel quality, residues in the diesel line/tank, and diesel with small water content. Pag ni-rev ng mataas, pump gets more diesel from the tank. Other factors are electro-mechanical.

there was one member na naka experience na ng hard starting... he brought it sa casa and they replaced the supply pump... ok na ngayon.

there are 2 levels of membership for Innova Club... Level 1 members would be those who post and interact only through internet while Level 2 members are those with club stickers already and have attended EB's of the group, thus they are included in the list of official members.

in your case... you are thus a Level 1 Member.
