Diesel query lang po regarding SF CRDI units. My dealer recommends gassing up at Petron.
Which diesel brand do you use? (Petron, Shell, Caltex, others pls specify)
Which is better base on power and fuel efficiency? (cleaner) Given that it's from a reputable and well maintained station.
What about bio-diesel?
Or are they all the same?
So far, I've been alternating on Petron and Shell at the moment. Haven't felt any difference. Never tried Caltex for 20 years na.

Ok talaga Petron sir tiboy, mas mura pa kaysa sa iba ng centimo
Di ko alam kung bakit endorse nila ang Petron e Shell naman ang nakikita kong pantakip nila sa panel pag change oil

tips according sa nabasa ko sa forums on filling up
- as much as posible fill up lang sa mga "company controlled" gas stations because there they always follow strict rules like calibrating their pumps regularly etc,
how can you determine if the station is company controlled? OC yung mga gasoline boy (reminding you to turn of your engine) and meron "petron treats" "select"

- avoid filling up kapag nakita mo yung tanker na naglalagay ng fuel sa underground tank, why? because the dirt from the underground tank may surface then baka mahigop ng pump yung dumi at mapunta sa SFs natin hehe

- as much as possible fill up at night na mababa na temp kasi pag mainit araw yung full tank mo pwedeng di yun full tank kasi nagexpand na ang molecules hehe basta wala kang tanker na makita na nagunload

- iwas mag fill up sa flood prone area, ok lang mag fill dito kung gasoline ka pero kung diesel ibang usapan na yan

meron pang iba nakalimuta ko lang hehe

About sa biodiesel ang sabi sakin dati ng SA 5% blend na biodiesel dapat pagkaintindi ko diesel na may 5% blend na biofuel, pero di ko gets hehe, research muna hehe, alam ko flying v palang may biodiesel pero not worth trying siguro nakakatakot, wala pa akong nakikilalang nasiraan ng SF baka ako pa mauna kung pagexperimentuhan ko hehe
