March 4th, 2008 12:37 AM #24Thanks sa advise. I've gone through the other posts and saw a lot of information about Big Berts. I'll probably get paint protection from them. How about rust protection? Do I need to bother getting rust protection?
Regarding mods, dami nga pala available for Santa Fe. Alarm with Turbo Timer looks great! Medyo hesitant lang ako since it will void the warranty. It's one of the considerations kasi why I chose it over other CUV's. Thanks for the warm welcome pala!

AFAIK, all brand new cars have factory rust proofing that would last a year. Others opt for yearly maintenance. Although Zeibart offers life time protection, thought you might wanna consider going there.
As what the manual says. Turbo cool down is required after long distance drives. If you can spare a minute or so after every trip to idle the engine... then you don't need a TT. As for me, I chose convenience and hope it doesn't create problems. Log on regularly to the Sf threads so we can share matters concerning our babies. Enjoy your Fe eign.

Yup, my sentiments exactly LR. Cguro naging busy na rin yung iba. It would be ok sana kung makamusta natin yung mga Fe nila, for reference.
Medyo marami-rami na pala naging SF owner from almost 2 years back na tsikot members. I had the impression na less than 20 lang
