130 mph (209 kph) in my 2006 Hyundai Sonata 3.3 V6 while racing a Mazda 6 V6.
There were questions about why Hyundai put a 160 mph speedometer on such a pedestrian automobile. Apparently the car can do more:
06 Sonata V6 147 mph Car & Driver
Another idiot took his to 152 mph (245 kph) also somewhere up by Phoenix. The key was to use Shiftronic and turn off the ESC.
Add: I stopped at 130 mph because the Mazda 6's governor activated at 125 mph. It was just a friendly race. That car's driver lived near our neighborhood and we saw each other on the road all the time. We both were curious about the cars. He He He. Oh. He now drives a new V6 Altima.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; April 4th, 2009 at 02:50 AM.

I also have V-rated Michelins which came with the car...... The place was a 4-lane highway on the way home which was literally empty because rush hour was over.

From Riyadh To Alkhobar, I usually run at 160 Kph driving my hyundai Tucson . Overtaking at speed pf 180 to 185 kph, then settle at 160 kph again .
Pero sa tingin ko mukhang may ibibilis pa kaya lang natatakot ako dahil stock tire ang gamit ko eh !
