hmmm... Hyundai (and Kia) needs to add more SUVs to their current vehicle line up...

How Hyundai Motor, once a rising star, lost its shine | Reuters

In 2009, Hyundai and partner Kia’s combined sales ranked third in China after General Motors (GM.N) and Volkswagen (VOWG_p.DE).

The South Korean duo now ranks ninth and its market share in China has more than halved to 4 percent last year, from more than 10 percent at the beginning of this decade.
Hyundai ran into problems in China and the United States for similar reasons: It missed shifts in consumer tastes, especially the surge in demand for SUVs

their pricing is also verybad. most safety features arent standard also ie elantra, sonata tucson and Santa fe. look at the standard safety features/equipment of the civic, accord camry, crv and forester and ascent.

is the 2.2 Diesel Palisade coming?

cabin space is huge compared to the older GSF

2nd row looks wide enough for 3 comfortably? center arm rest looks wide

It is 3.6inches wider than the GSF

Palisade is 77.8inch wide. 1inch narrower than the explorer. Hip and sh room will be close to rivals below.

Pilot is wider at 78.6inches 57.3 and 62inches hip/shoulder room.

Explorer is 78.9inches, 56.8 and 61inches of hip and shoulder room respectively

2.2 diesel Palisade? magkano kaya to, will this eat the Santa Fe 2.2 sales, eh langaw na nga yun to begin with . like I said nobody here would buy 2.3M for a Hyundai no matter how fully loaded

malamang eto Palisade nasa 3M territory, oh good luck Hyundai here.

the grand santa fe didn't sell well here anyways. hyundai as a whole raised their prices and are simply losing numbers in sales.

if the korean giant fails somewhat. they might follow GMs and Fords direction..maybe in 5 years
