June 17th, 2012 04:20 AM #2From my experience with casa repairs it's better to have it done outside, go with those 5 star shops which specialize in repainting and body repair and just buy the parts needed from the casa or the autoparts shop and choose original Hyundai parts. My reason for this is casa's are generalized in service they are a jack of all trades type unlike those shops which specialize in repair and painting.

June 18th, 2012 01:21 AM #4I think the insurance company have accredited shops outside also or you can go the cash settlement route wherein the insurance company will pay you the amount and it is up to you where you want to have your car fixed. As for the warranty I am not sure if repairs done due to accidents are still warranted by the manufacturer maybe the dealership only will warranty the repair but so do all repair shops outside. I think the only time manufacturer will not honor a warranty is if non original parts are used in the course of the repair.

June 18th, 2012 12:38 PM #7Yeah, E.Rod has alot of problems.
Their SA told me this car is Euro 4 compliant. Masmalakas makina and massmooth ang ride.
I was like WTF?

Mind you, people from Hyundai Commonwealth are imbeciles.

E.Rod (tucson)
- changed the plastic running board + dent and scratch repair sa rear fender
- di nila binalik yung fender liner sa rear RH wheel well (napansin ko lang after almost a month). binalik naman nila when i asked for it nung napansin ko. this is an indication of their carelessness
- dun sa repainted part, i think nagkamali sila ng pagpaint. you can actually see specks of silky bronze paint dun sa part na pininturahan (titanium gray yung kulay nung kotse). feeling ko nag spray sila ng bronze, realized na mali, tapos pinatungan nung gray. will have this repaired na lang sa Q. Ave kasi baka pumalpak pa lalo.
- may overspray sa mags
Q.Ave (sonata)
- repainted/repaired running board (sumabit sa gutter) and mud guard
- no complaints, pantay yung pagkapaint, as if nothing happened.
- medyo masikip lang yung shop

Sumablay din yan E. Rod nung pinagawa ko yung iX ko. Repainted the whole passenger side.
- Hindi pantay ang kulay.
- Nung kinuha ko, hindi makintab. After a week binalik ko para ayusin nila yun buffing.
