I don't get what the problem is.

Hearses are aspirational objects. People don't want their loved ones to be carried to the cemetery in a piece-of-**** junker of a car. They want a hearse that's presentable and classy.

That's why you'll never see an L300 hearse.

That's why funeral homes use old luxury cars, Mercedes Benzes, Lincolns, Cadillacs, even Cefiros and Toyota Crowns... as hearses, because even the rattiest old Crown or Cefiro used to be a luxury car... whereas something like an L300, an IPV or a Hilux... would not ever be considered one.

You should feel flattered that a funeral home has decided to use the Starex. That puts it in such esteemed company as the Expedition, the Cadillac Escalade and even the Jaguar XJ as modern cars that are turned into hearses.

In other words... people see it as a status symbol, and it's a sign of respect for the dead that they choose the Starex as their last ride.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    Just respect the dead

    Joke lang.

Kumuha ka parin ng Starex. IMHO that's the best van you can buy below 2 million pesos. Except the Limousine variant. hehe.

Don't see anything wrong with vehicles being used as funeral cars either... especially if it's going to be customized by the likes of St. Louie's memorial in Pampanga. From stock current gen Suburbans, Tahoe's, to modified Avanza's to look like a vintage hot rod and Hilux' frames modified to look exaclty like a Hummer H3 with all the interiors done absolutely well. Only in that funeral services shop did I see such craftsmanship. :D

At least sosyal ang sasakyan ng dead. Ika nga, last ride nila sa earth kaya dapat special.

tagal nang meron nyan ang St. Peter saka Paz, mga GRX units.

basta pag bibili ka ng starex at conscious ka na baka mapagkamalan na funeral car ang dala mo e avoid the colors black or white AND don't put any curtains on the windows. and make sure you drive fast and choose your music wisely.
