again: Read the user's manual!!! It is specified there not to open the oil cap or pull the dipstick while the engine is running!! Even when checking the oil level!!
Yung kia carnival ko dati ganyan din same with our l300 exceed 4d56 engine may tumatalsik din... Pero yung assembled auv namin isuzu c190 after 13 years of service eh nawala na tumatalsik na langis pero pag check mo ng oil pressure sa gauge eh bagsak na pala (looe compression) kaya walang langis na tumatalsik pero nung bago bago pa yun eh meron din tumatalsik na langis... Naalala ko pa nga noon eh naipit yung breather ng c190 engine umakyat yung langis sa dipstick at sumabog pero after 13 years eh kahit ipitin yung breather eh wala na langis na umakyat
high compression and pressure ang diesel engine operation kaya ganyan.. If you will look closely you can also see some smoke (blowby gas) which is also normal (but not too much)
yung black smoke naman eh pag rev mo napapagpag lang yung deposits kaya maitim.. Bka hindi na drive hard yung starex kaya naipon ang carbon deposit.. Minsan dapat i-drive hard yung mga makina para luminis ang exhaust..
Eto pa yung kia carens crdi na-try ko din binuksan yung dip stick pati yung oil cap may tumalsik din na langis... Forget the mechanic what just had said i will not have my crdi engine piston rings replaced...
Not because may tumatalsik na oil at may smoke sa dip stick or oil cap means the engine needs an overhaul or piston ring replacement.. Kung nagsusunog na ng langis or nauubos ang langis eh yan ang pagagawa ko..
