ser if its not too much problem, can u post pix of the screen MENU? I suspect its just a rebadged China unit...like what Kia bundled with early 2012 units... and how about ser yung unbiased opinion mo on its Sound Quality? are most people satisfied?

It is an AVT unit. It got most of what one would need. But regarding sound quality, with this OEM unit and stock speakers, it's passable. Good enough for most. But if you want really good quality sound there are better units to choose from.

Pwede na? Yes ok naman. Satisfied? Hmm...

Also, as someone had pointed out from an earlier post, the radio reception is weak, and it is, noticeable during out of town trips. I also find the TV reception to be weak as well.

got an offer from my bank PNB na less na may discount sila na Php 20,000 sa (hyundai tarlac) so the price will be 2.208M
na lang ok po ba ang PHDM na 4x4?

I got the PHDM 4x4, ok na ok naman. If you want more features, go for gray units. If you are after warranty, go for PHDM.

With regards to the OEM HU, if you are a sound set up person, you wont be satisfied with it. If you are after functionality, then no problem

I don't think it's growl audio. Iba kasi pics sa website nun. Mine is AVT unit, OEM installed by Hyundai. Negotiated po ito with SA, either discount or this head unit for free. Since small lang alok sa discount, ito na kinuha namin.

You sure it's AVT? AFAIK your HU is Growl Audio and they're the only ones who supplies SF3 OEM DVD/GPS HUs to dealers AFAIK. A sure way to know if your HU is Growl Audio or AVT is to check the GPS provider. If it's Papago!, your HU is Growl Audio. If it's iNav, your HU is AVT.

BTW, I've just checked Growl Audio's website. The HU for the SF there is the HU for the SF2, not SF3. They have not yet updated their website.

I stand corrected. A friend of mine inquired at Winterpine, they have an OEM DVD/GPS HU for the SF3 made by AVT. He forgot to ask how much is it.

By the way, I heard the Papago! GPS Navigation of Growl Audio is as accurate as Garmin as I've read in some forums.

By the way again, my mom is leaning towards the SF3. My dad still has to be convinced that the additional 400k from the Tucson R eVGT GL is really worth it. This wednesday we'll be testing driving both the Tucson and the SF3.

Got also Hillsborough paint protection package right after I took my car from casa. That's from their Eastwood Libis branch. The boys are pro and know their job! I think Steve is one of the owner.

Done with 1k PMS this morning at Hyundai NE. Total discounted cost paid is 6k. FS HGMO oil and flushing is what i have availed, the rest hindi ko na ipinalagay or ipinagawa. They have a promo for PMS, free 10 liters of fuel, some small tokens, car wash +free breakfast...hehe! Requested them to enable auto door lock, hindi daw available sa 4x2, sa 4x4 lang.
