di p siguro kami binibigyan ng diyos eh. ewan ko din kase asawa ko Ilokano ako Tagalog so baka hindi compatible.

pero eto lang napapansin ko sa mga kebigan ko ngaun na nagkaanak na, they treat their child as if it's a career or another source of fun. parang yun innocence ng child eh nagbibigay ng stress relief sa kanila daw, na tipong masaya daw sila and they proceed on buying things for their child.

parang may mali eh. kumbaga sa tsikot, you enjoy it pero may hangganan kasi materyal lang yun eh, then you buy a pup, may life pero it won't reciprocate human feelings. and so therefore last resort is a child. pero bakit ganun? they act and speak like they're taking more or on the receiving end of the graces of having a child. tapos pag ang child eh hindi na ma-control like for example, 8 yrs. above parang gusto na nila itapon o iwasan.

siguro sa mga na-oobserbahan kung yan kaya hindi pa ako nagkakaanak eh. you bring another life in this world to mold it and to contribute to society. you don't bring life here for your own enjoyment and satisfaction and when things get out of control eh pinabayaan mo na lang sa schools and teachers ang upbringing nila. and so that's why ganyan ka-disfunctional ang society natin eh. kasi puros kabig, personal pa din.

mas ok pa nga yun si batman aka bruce wayne, hindi sya pinalaki like what normals Pinoy do to their children, pero kita mo best contributor sa society si Batman at least ficititiously d'ba?

kaya ang daming parents na matataba ang losyang ngaun eh kasi puros kabig, kabig sa resources, kabig sa affection. what a waste of new people coming to society. dapat a child should have it's fair share of suffering and struggle both emotionally and financially.

kaya siguro kahit anong display / portrayal ng mga young families ngaun with their photo ops sa mga nauuso photo studio sa malls with their babies in cupcakes or costumes, walang dating sa'kin eh. what I do is to become more fit and desireable, para bago pa man magsimula yan mga young couples with their cute child na yan to psych me eh sila na ang na-psyche coz obviously they're out of shape out of child-rearing. tapos dagdag mo pa yun ipambibile nila ng maganda ang fitting na clothes kelangan pambili ng gatas.

yan na nga ang trend sa Japan ngaun diba, ayaw na nila ng anak. bec. somehow i'm beginning to understand sa highly developed societies, if you have self-confidence an self-reliance in yourself, you won't fall into the trap or the bandwagon na mag-anak like everybody else ... kasi tingin ko yun iba nag-aanak lang to curb the loneliness and emptiness inside of them.

Baka yung pinapabayaan na sinasabi mo may not be at all pinapabayaan for the parents of the kid, maybe the parents want their kids to be liberated? Meron naman ganun. I even know parents who smoke & have drinks with their children even if the child isn't legal to do stuff like that.

Iba na kasi ngayon, OB. Kids are no longer the kids you "know".. di na sila yung tipong 10 years or 12 years old naglalaro pa with their friends outside ng kung anu-ano. It's either they're out with their friends having a good time or stuck behind their PC. Some parents know that, kaya instead of them restricting their children to do those stuff they just let them what they want to be... enjoy their life. Pero yun nga, they still have a role -- keep things in moderation.

Kung literal na pinapabayaan, those parents might be financially unstable or di nila kaya i-partake yung "change" na nangyayari ngayon sa mga bata. Reasoning? Nung araw ko di ganyan... blah blah. So ang nangyayari tinatakwil na nila yung bata because they can't seem to accept na ganun ang society ngayon. They want children of today be like the children of yesterday. Laro laro lang, no hanky panky na nangyayari.

Yun satisfaction naman, you'll know that kapag nagkaron ka na ng kid. Everything bad about your day will be forgotten when you go home from your work then your kid awaits you -- healthy, wala problema...

Pero tama ka nga, some children are used para pang-tapal sa emptiness na nafefeel ng parents. Maybe they feel empty bec. wala sila pera or whatever... so they make babies para maging masaya sila and in the end? Kawawa ang bata.

Bottomline is, if you're fit enough to be a parent -- financially & psychologically -- let your kids enjoy their young life. After all, yan naman nangyari sainyo nung bata pa.. or, yan naman yung ginugusto nyo before but never got it because your parents are so strict. So wag nyo ipadama sa kids yung nangyari.

Thankfully, I was brought up by people who placed things in moderation. Not strict nor too liberal. Enjoy lang. So pag nagkaron ako ng anak, which I hope lalaki..., magiging liberal din siya pag na-taon. Well.. not literally liberated. Just things kept in moderation.

this is going to compete head on with the 1.790 sorento. and their top of the line 2M variant. this will surely edge out kia. so i guess kia would need to look for ways to sweeten their deals. so far with their current price structure, i still dont see much sorentos on th road.

These prices are confirmed according to my SA in Hyundai Quezon Avenue. The SF is getting expensive. Still, IMO, the 2.228M peso price tag for the top of the line variant is not justified until I see the full specifications of the new SF.

IMO the looks itself already justifies the price of the 2.228M SF. It becomes more justifiable due to the relatively commendable features it has.

Of course, everything comes at a price. If you can't afford the 2.228M SF then you have to settle with the 1.5M variant. It wasn't made to be the target vehicle of the common people anyway.

I bet yung GL yung current specs ng santa fe. yung GLS, probably yung features same as the 1.690m (former 1.790m) EX sorento. Smart Key/ push button start, dual-zone auto climate, cruise control, etc. but with a bigger 18" wheels.
