True naman that heat goes in and yes high heat rejection will have less heat coming inside. However, high heat rejection film absorbs more heat (sa tint and glass) which you would feel significant heat sa glass. Since sunroof siya ma feel mo yun heat build up sa tinted glass, from your head. In comparison to normal tint, high heat rejection tint lets less heat in for a certain period standing under open parking, you would feel the difference. So as heat build up inside the car although it is retarded momentarily; the tinted glass also adds to it. Core wise cool siya talaga, but since my head is closer to the roof line I feel the heat build up sa glass. Normal tint as I experience it sa sunroof, it kinda let the heat breathe out or probably distributed and cooled inside the car. Don't get me wrong that the high rejecting tint is not effective over the normal ones.. Haha ang hirap iexplain, but that is the experience I can share. Think of it as an efficient filter, and efficient filter traps all the dirt than the less effective filter which you feel dirt easily passing through. It is not the core heat naman ang concern it is the heat build up which you would feel as a body part is closer to it, this is why I recommend normal tint sa sunroof or moonroof. VKool has metal flakes and is a good heat conductor, it is also a thicker film.
Add ko na rin kung bakit high heat rejection film ang recommendation ko sa windshield for the budget conscious. More heat impact sa windshield and roof (non sunroof or moonroof owners should not be concerned as you have a metal roof and a good headliner insulation against heat), but since on a moving vehicle air hits the windshield more bluntly which cools down the heated film and glass faster than the roof or its sides. But having all around high heat rejection film except sunroof is still the best cooling application.
If your want the highest heat rejecting film and be seen in your vehicle with your ravishing good looks go with Vkool V40 clear, gusto mo naman light shading V70 kaso mas less ang heat rejection. I invest in good tint in relation to the number of years that I plan maintaining my car, meaning how long the car will remain in my ownership. If 4 or 5 years, sulit na yung expensive tint mo cost-wise per day over number of years; as it gives you a great cooling experience, comfort, security and style.

guys paano ba nangyari sa SFCP nag register na ako, pero confirmation e-mail hindi dumadating?
nice Rims ser Markwidmark, btw ano size ng gulong mo and what brand?
ser vic, orig Mobis yung stepboard mo kailangan pa mag butas? mukhang ok porma
stepboard ng SF3, should I get one? thinking of ordering fm. China...
PM ko moderator ng SFCP.
yep original MOBIS yun. Problem iba yung butas sa loob pag tangal ng cover.
sir thanks for the detailed reply! really appreciate it! im convinced that i should not use vk40 on the moonroof hehe, Arent the vk70 and vk40 in your post mixed up? as i understand, the vk70 lets more light pass through (VLT 70%) and will let your ravishing good looks shine morewe have 2 old cars that was tinted with vk70 windshield, vk40 all around. one of our new cars though is tinted with vk40 windshield, k28 all around. will the k series be good for the moon roof?
i also have a pm to you sir titan. thanks!
You might be right, I might have mixed up the codes. As far as I remember I got my Sentra Grandeur on V40 it is clear with highest heat rejection, the one on my FXT is V70 which is darker shade pero mas mababa yung heat rejection. I got the V70 same place you got yours. My V40 Kay Pony in 2000.
The K series should work fine if that is their normal tint. Our SF3 run 3M sa Panoramic sunroof, sides and rear glass, windshield is on Solarguard LX70 kalaban ni v70.
You should test your sunroof shade open during driving regardless if on a long highway or traffic so you notice it. My FXT's sunroof is on V70, although cooler inside but I feel the heat from the sunroof glass build up from head to neck, 6ftr ako. Sa SF3 naka 3M medium dark, I feel less of it, weird but that was the experience. My usual drive is about 1hour 30 to 2 hours.

Hi guys, reading all of your posts in this thread had me convinced that SF3 is one of the greatest buys in the SUV market today. I was actually decided to get an SF3 since my car plan is already due but then a good friend advised me to research more about the new crdi engine. She was getting her new grand starex from hancars kasi and she talked to someone there about the SF3 and nakwento na the engine suddenly stalls daw. Is there an SF3 owner here that has experienced such a thing? One of the issues that i can think of is that the new engine is designed to be compatible with Euro4 diesel which i believe is only available through Unioil. Could it be that the brand of diesel used may have caused these problems? I am planning to get a PHDM 4X2 SF3 from HARI sana but I would like to clear my mind of any doubts first especially with the compatibility of its engine to our diesel. I will be forced to use Caltex diesel since they are the one who supplies fuel for our company. Do you guys see any problem with this?
TIA guys!
