Nacompare ko kasi sa ford everest namin walang ka hangin2x sa oil cap. Yung sportage at sorento namin may blowby din sa oil cap.

We used to have the 2011 ReVGT, and I am quite positive that it had glow plugs. Same engine lang naman ito.

I do wonder though, when he was finally able to start the engine, swabe na siya magstart kahit kapag inulit niya. If it was a key fob issue, shouldn't it have difficulty starting all the time?

Yes may glow plug parin yan.
If nagamit na at mainit na engine, hindi na lalabas starting problem mo? If so, glow plug yan.

Mas naging frequent yung starting problem ng santa fe namin. 5 times nangyari in just a month. Di ko pa napadala sa casa. Wala bang ibang owners dito naka experience ng ganito?

Kung glow plugs nga magkano kaya? Pansin ko during rainy days or malamig ang panahon doon lumalabas ang problema. So malamang glow plugs nga? Hmmm

Recently the aircon takes long to cool, I noticed if I rev the engine or if I have a good stretch of free road where I can accelerate the aircon cools faster otherwise if it's traffic and no opportunity to rev, the aircon takes long in cooling. Anybody experience this? Does the Sta Fe aircon really work this way?

Perhaps it is time for general cleaning?

I think this isn’t unique to the santa fe, happens to some of my cars too. Plus it’s summer time so it will really take a longer time to cool the cabin :D

It’s not normal. Your electric fans are not at optimum revolution. Either or both radiator fan and auxiliary fan may need replacement.

Kaya nga ayaw ko na sa mga ceossover diesels eh, yan ang handicap niya in the long run aside from the timing belt

Sa PPVs bukod na sa timing chain, it uses clutch fan at walang degradation ng revolution ng cooling fan sa radiator and aircon kasi lagi naka depende sa engine. Mechanical not electrical

Croosover diesels should be cheaper than PPVs in that sense, pero ewan ko kumbakit ang mahal nyan Santa Fe ngaun

Pati aircon problema na after 3-4 years nun car.

If it cools faster if you rev it while on neutral or in traffic, I'll rule out the aux fan and you might have a failing ECV. Might be that the solenoid travel can go only halfway. It adjusts the plate angle of your compressor. Flat if a/c off, halfway on high revs and full angle when on idle or low revs with a/c on. Might be that yours gets stuck on the halfway mark.

If your casa allows you to bring parts, mas maganda pang yatang bumili ng lower arm instead of the rubbers then have them pressed. Ang mahal ng machine press nila, saka kasama pa ball joint which you will eventually replace also. Sa Seiring I bought lower arm for less than 5k each, don’t know the price for your model now.

Pati yung tie rod less than 1k lang sa kanila last time I bought.

Wala naman. Separate job order yan. Dami kasing problema si gen 3 ko. Kaya pina inspect ko na lahat.

Abs sensor daw yung hard starting sabi ng casa.
