I really like the accent's power (atleast of paper) and 6 speed option kasi sir, I like the Rio's looks naman. Vios is like my last option. 1st time buyer and matagal na po masusundan to. Vios is like a safe option. If I hear from experts na ok naman yung accent or rio eh dun po ako.
So happy with my 2013 accent. Better in many ways sa 2011 vios 1.3e ng wife ko

so far im satisfied with the performance of my 2011 accent, in a way its much much bigger than its pears in toyota, honda etc.
On PMS price it will depend on the parts you will be needing, i would suggest always bring your own parts, labor lang sila.
Im not following the quarterly PMS, im doing semi annual.
There are things na need na palitan, but since my knowledge naman ako i deffered it, like spark plug ng recommend na pero ndi pa yun need.
On gas i averaged based on my mano-mano compute 10-12km/L, it all depends on the traffic condition.
No questions asked on toyota's reliability, ilang taxi ba naman ang gumagamit nyan so expect surplus parts to flood the market.
For the new car owner i would suggest you do research first, like those inquiry, para no surprises.
But the other members are right mahrap kmita ng pera.
It will all depends on your need pg dting s cars
Fuel save phoenix caltex silver. Wala naman kumakatok at malakas makina.
Why not brand new?

I completely agree with you on this. I am a hyper-miler & generally do 600-700+ kms weekly, mostly SLEX & STAR expressway runs. PMS is approximately every 6-7 weeks & I only use FS oil. Since I bought my 2014 Hyundai Accent hatch December 2013, I have logged 57k already. The car still runs, sounds & feels the same as when I bought it. Walang kalampag, no rattling in the body work. It is usually run on smoothly paved roads & I always have to follow the speed limit anyway. Unfortunately, buyers never look at it the way we do.
11800 kms. na sa odo ko and still got no issues with knocking or mechanical failures. Tried cruising 140-160 kms. on SCTEX and TPLEX to test if there will be any problem, so far still running good. Still using unleaded gasoline, I hope solve na nga knocking issues with new kappa engine.
As of now ganun pa rin sya try ko isingit sa schedule ko for the next 3 days kc may pasok rin ako.

Check your compression ratio. Most Hyundais are high compression and requires high octane fuel
During startup lng? See the video here:

But I guess when buying 2nd hand cars, you'd always have to consider the age vs the mileage. If the car is more than 5 years with 20k on it, medjo suspect. Tapos yung doors di na parang ref sumara at may creaking sounds na sa kaha pagka umaandar. Malamang paying nasa traffic yun.
