Got a closer look at the HGMO oil, it is manufactured in Florida by Amalie Oil Company for Hyundai Philippines. Its classification is SN/CF and ACEA B4 with SAE 5W-40.

Yup, ang label niya is for all types of engines (whether gas or diesel). The API (American standard) rating for diesel is CF but it also passes the requirements for ACEA B4 (European standard). Yun ang nakalagay sa label. Made in USA for Hyundai Philippines kaya siguro mahal.....hehehe

Anyway, also checked Amalie Oil Company.... oill manufacturer sila since 1903, but this is the first time I have heard of them

bukas 15k pms tucson ko, subukan ko mutol crdi diesel sae 5w-40. api:SN... hindi po CF rating ang equivalent SN. eto ( It is possible for an oil to conform to both the gasoline and diesel standards. In fact, it is the norm for all diesel rated engine oils to carry the "corresponding" gasoline specification. For example, API CJ-4 will almost always list either SL or SM, API CI-4 with SL, API CH-4 with SJ, and so on.) magkano kaya charge sa 15k pms.

Is there a link to your statement? I've seen quite a few SL or SM oils if used in gasoline engines, but only CF when used in diesels.
