Planning to buy a Matrix 2006 Diesel

Hi guys, newbie in cars, my wife and I is planning to buy a second hand car matrix 2006 model diesel, any tips from you guys like what to check and look for kind of stuff, any info is welcome, is it worth a buy around 270k? TIA

If in good condition, okay po yung 270K na price...mas okay kung mapapababa pa further...Usually ang diesel na matrix would cost 300k up pa...gas would around 250K...pacheck nyo po egr and turbo...hopefully yung injectors okay pa...

the 2006 matrix diesel still costs around 300-350k. so definitely, mura yan.
it is one of the underrated vehicles here before.

except for a slight turbo lag, you get power when you need it with excellent fuel efficient capabilities.
have not heard any major issue with this vehicle.

salamat mga pafs, I was eyeing smaller 2nd hand cars like alto, picanto saka i10, na much latest 2008 & up for the same or higher price ng konti pero gas M/T, but this car caught my attention, at the price & its diesel M/T, mas malaki sya which is good compare sa nabanggit ko nauna, as family all round car purpose. Hopefully try ko magsama ng mekaniko, to check that egr & turbo as papi mateomarco said. Saka sana wala nga problema yun car why it is being sold at its price.

Eh guys how about spare parts since its readily available pa po ba in case na meron sya problema, since wala na sya sa market.

Try to inquire kahit via phone sa mga kilalang hyundai/kia parts sellers kung available pa parts for this vehicle... to name a few, seiring along araneta ave/infront of arlington, Fronte and kospino in banawe, goodgear at taft avenee near few meetings from edsa, and rexstar sa tambo...im not sure kung identical some of its parts with other hyundai vehicles during its time...baka gets na crdi?!

Matrix is a good all around city car. Mura yan sa asking price, medyo napa isip ako.. di kaya flood victim ito?? Anyway test drive & inspect to the max nyo po. Agree ako kay sir 1D4LV na underrated car ito, wala nga pumansin nito dati kasi Hyundai
