wait, that's screwed up. the philippines is getting the outgoing hyundai sonata?. just FYI, this is the new hyundai sonata coming out in june 2005 (so the old sonata only has 3+ months to live).

this is what the philippines got... only comes in v6 variant...

looks very good... a pity though that no test drive was available for this.

That one came out a few years ago here in the US and it's called Acura TSX.
I believe it came out in 2003 as a 2004 model (or was it 2002 as a 2003 model).

hyundai really upped the ante on the new sonata ,but i think its glory will be very short-lived with the early release of the 7th generation camry on feb.2006, 6-7 months earlier than normal...hybrid, V6 and all. still, this Sonata is a good thing

saw the sonata in the flesh yesterday... styling is well done, and the interior is filled with soft-touch panels and quality appears to be excellent. space is expansive, and the trunk is simply huge. with a 235 hp 3.3-liter V6 standard at 1.43 million bucks, this new sonata appears to be an impressive alternative to the V6 camry and V6 accord for substantially less coin.
