My Santa Fe does not rev after engine wash

Hi fellow Hyundai owners. At around 530 pm yesterday it happen after my 70K change oil. I brought it to a nearby carwash and prior to that I had to problems. Just after the enginewash,i felt to power at all, but it still runs 10-15kph when brake is released. So I turned back and brought it back to the carwash and had it checked by a mechanic. Nabasa daw yung sensor which I am not sure, worse is naka ON yung CEL and the rev at idle is at 1000rpm, very wierd! At erratic ang rev kahit hindi kakaapak s pedal.

Any idea or suggestions? I just left early this morning for China so could not even get in touch with Hyundai Pampanga to ask. But do will as soon as I get settled later, but for now I want to rely on your comments.

Very sensitive kasi mga CRDi. Di pwede engine wash.

SG is that true? 2nd engine wash ko na to yung una ala namang problem. Shadow, posible kaya yon?umistart naman siya.

teka lang diesel meron bang spark plugs? nag start pero palyado... happened to me a long time ago, after engine wash palyado na yun engine.

Walang spark plugs ang diesel. Yung iba glow plug.

Sa CRDi engines kasi dapat ingatan yung mga module, sockets at ECU. Sa modern Hyundai CRDi engines naman ingatan yung mismong injector kasi Piezo Electric (200 volts)

ouch!! sabi pa naman ng owner na nakapag engine wash na sila ng CRDI SF dati. Shadow after nung nangyari napano na yung oto?

Yun ang advise ng HARI. Ako naman binasa ko na yung CRDi namin.

Pero dapat air dried. May leaf blower or compressed air. Lahat dapat dry, sockets, injectors, ECU tapos check yung filter box kung basa yung loob. Mahirap din kapag masyado malakas yung pressure ng water nung nag engine wash.
