Maintaining a 2006 starex crdi

Hi guys, ano mga need icheck sa pag maintain ng starex crdi?. Dating sasakyan ko kasi ay mitsubishi Adventure. Sa Adventure palitan lang ng mga langis at filters ayos na. Kaya curious ako kung ano yung mga Additional na kailangan kong tutukan since mas latest na ang engine ng starex. More on DIY lang kasi ko or talyer. Thanks!

AFAIK regular oil changes and pay close attention to changing the fuel filter on time. CRDI engines are very sensitive to dirty filters and dirty diesel. Make sure magkakarga po kayo sa mga station na hindi binabaha. I would recommend Unioil Euro Diesel IV or Seaoil kung meron.

Also since the Starex is a turbo charged engine, make sure sir after you drive it ng medyo malayo, do not rev the engine before you turn off and make sure you allow the turbo to cool down by letting it idle for 1 or 2 minutes before turning off.

Other than that, regular maintenance applies.

I used to own a 2007 grx crdi. Afaik euro 2 lang ang crdi ng starex grx. Caltex or Petron will be fine. Basta ingat ka lang na huwag ka pa-fill up sa old gas stations at baka madumi na tanks nila, lalo na yung sa flood prone areas.

My experience is mabilis maubos pag Shell diesel.

Thanks sa reply. Kahit yung sa Adventure ko dati alagang euro4 talaga ako. Regarding sa maintenance sir may ECU na ba yung starex?

Hindi. Ipapagamit ko kasi ung Adventure sa utol ko. Tas starex ng ermats ko yung gagamitin ko. Eh maka DIY kasi ko kaya pag ako na gumamit ako nadin mag ma-maintain.
