Guys patulong naman. 2010 diesel Revgt ang ride. Ano kaya caused ng engine stalling? First time na nangyari bigla na lang namatay makina ng tucson ko. Malakas ang battery, madaming krudo. Puro redondo lang. Pina tow ko na sa Hyundai Pasig. Bukas na lang daw nila ako iinform kung ano possible cause at busy daw sila. Kindly give me some inputs based on your experience kung meron man please. Mas maganda syempre kung may idea ako para iwas "taga" ng casa

Dont have an answer but talagang matagal sa hyundai pasig magdiagnose at sobrang puno sila parati. But i can confirm na sobrang mahal ng parts nila and even diagnostic fee nila. Just in case u need a 2nd opinion, i suggest bringing your car to SL auto service at the other end of C5, libis side fronting eastwood para makamura ka. Korean owner and head mechanic doon

^There is a hose underneath the passenger side to drain rain water
Clog it and rain water will accumulate
Clogging happens when the owner habitually raise the wiper from the windshield

Nagpalit ako ng break pads (original from fronte) sa 2014 Tucson crdi ko. Pansin ko maingay when I'm doing full stop and when I slowly releasing it from full stop. Yung ingay nya parang ugong e. May idea kayo kung baket?

Thanks! Nagtataka lang ako kasi yung pads which came with the unit wala namang ganung ingay. Anyway, pag napudpod to palitan ko na lang ng pang kia sportage.

Hi,
My 2010 Tucson now has very prominent shift problem - cannot shift from N to R and P to R. I read from the forum, it's defective inhibitor switch, as I check my break light it's working. I check with Fronte, the inhibitor switch costs 4k + labor (from freelance electrician).
Does anyone have experience replacing inhibitor switch outside casa? Meron kaya better replacement na hindi mabilis masira?
Kindly share your experience and feedback.
When my unit is still under warranty, I experience intermittent behavior of this problem, I complain several time sa casa about it. They told me they update the ECU, the switch are working fine. Kainis, ngayon lang naging prominent.

Mahal pala ng inhibitor switch at 4k, wala pang labor. Mine was changed a few years ago under warranty but it's acting up again

Nag testdrive ako ng 2010 Tucson A/T kanina. It was all good sa slow traffic pero nung may mga 200 meters na bakante at inapakan ko yung gas to overtake, medyo malakas yung engine sound. I'm a new driver kaya hindi ko talaga ma compare pero feel ko lang na malakas yung sound pumapasok talaga sa loob ng cabin. Tanong ko lang kung ganun ba talaga or is it a possible symptom of an underlying problem.

Yan ang symptoms ng mataas na fuel consumption. Ang payo ko sa iyo. Wag mo upakan ang accelerator. Tahimik pa ang iyong pagdrive.

Sa mga expert dyan. Help naman. Yung 2nd gen Revgt is diesel tucson ko with 102k mileage ayaw humatak. Limited ang rpm nya until 2.5k lang. Compared noon na madalas ko sya e revline sa 4.3k. Sudden ang onset ng issue. While crusing sa slex napansin ko na lang na ayaw na humataw tapos lumabas ang CEL. Dinala ko sa Goodgear pasay kanina. Ayon sa scanner nila Turbocharger daw ang may fault. binaba and nilinis nila ang turbine, nilinis ang egr, maf sensor, replaced ang turbo actuator. Pero ganun pa din. Iniwan ko na lang at nagcommute pauwi. Any inputs on what else to check guys. Tantya ko sa mga mekaniko hilo na e.
