    If you have friends with Tucon, you can check their engines if it sounds the same or different. So far US buyers don't have much complains regarding the engine.

    i have noticed some issues with my tuc's engine lately. as far as my knowledge permits me, the engine makers for the tuc are also the same group who makes engines for mitsu. in fact, the theta 2 engine is similar to mitsu's 4b11 which is a descendant of the the popular 4g63 engine. being a mitsu fan, i am quite aware that mitsu engines are prone to such problems. that ticking sound comes from the engine valve's tappet arms. my engine used to be quiet. knowing the casa, i do not think they can determine the problem unless someone with experience points it out to them.

    i've just had my 15k pms and i noticed that i also lost power in my engine after the pms. mas gusto pa ng engine ko yung lumang synthetic oil. mejo hindi naman significant yung power loss but i still noticed it. oh well, i bet the casa won't be able to give me a satisfactory answer for this...again.


    Same case sa unit ko. everytime galing sa PMS yun tucson ko pansin ko yun difference sa hatak and mas noisy yung engine. Last time semi-synthetic(10w40 i think) nilagay ng casa and napilitan ako magpalit ng fully synthetic(10w30) and then nabawasan yung noise. Yung quality ng fuel napansin ko din merong effect sa engine noise kasi may mga fuel stations na medyo umiingay yung engine pag sa kanila ako nagpapagas. Ngayon I make it sure na 1 gas station na lang pinapakargahan ko. Malapit na rin ako sa 10k PMS and I hope wala ako ma-encounter na issues. Sa dasma ako magpapa-PMS and ang problem is hindi nila nirerecommend na gumamit ng fully synthetic oils. Dami na daw kasi sila experience na nagkakaroon ng oil sludge or nagpuputik yun loob ng engine ng mga fully synth oil users. This is not just on hyundai sabi nila. I believe walang option ng fully synthetic oil sa kanila kaya kung magdadala ako ng fully synthetic e baka sabihin nila at my own risk na.

    sir wala po magagawa yung ireset ang ecu sa problem nyo, ang dapat po go again to your nearest casa then ask to reprogram using the GDS then sa users option find adaptive values then click ok nangyayari po kasi ito kapag niremove ang cluster, same thing will happen to new i10.

    Hyundai E. Rod is a big dealership.

    Dapat alam nila kung paano ayusin yan.

    Malamang may GDS naman sila doon.

    sir good day po! sir try nyo pong linisan ang windshield nyo with hair shampoo.

    Na experience ko din yan sa navara, akala ko din mali ang timpla ko sa aircon, or sira ang wiper blade ko..

    Pero bottom line naisip ko din na baka madumi ung glass ko due to acid rain and oil deposits. so un tumigil ako sa gasoline station then bumili ng shampoo, bare hands ko ginamit ko as sponge .. after that. ok na, no more misting sa outside ng glass.

    masaya na sana ako kasi na receive ko na ang tucson ko..
    pero pag dating ko sa bahay may maliit na dent pala sa roof...

    kakainis naman... pero sabi sa nag deal sa akin..

    baka ma tanggal daw yung dent gamit yung paintless dent remover (ewan ko kung ano yun)...

    Pwede tanggalin through PDR.

    Kaso kung sa dealer palang may tama na, dapat sila magbayad.

    bro, kaya ng PDR yan basta di tumapat sa double walling and masusundot sa loob. yun nga lang moght need to remove the ceiling. Yung sakin chineck ko talaga maigi na walang dents before accepting the unit.
    Now lang nagkadent dahil sa tama ng door ng katabing cars sa parking. Problem din is banda sa rear fender yun dimple and sakto may double wall and hindi ma-access sa loob. Kung meron lang PDR na pwede sa labas lang iaccess like ivacuum mas ok sana.

    kanina nagloko yung aircon ko di lumalamig yung hangin. i made sure na nakaon yung AC switch and i pressed it several times pero di pa din lumalamig. i pulled over and restarted the engine, ayun lumamig na uli.

    sana di na maulit. nung nagbackread ako, mukhang may isolated cases din na ganito noh? yung di na naulit yung problema. sana nga ganun lang din

    Kasi once you restart the engine aayos na eh.

    ECU reset kaya via GDS?
