    Nangyari din sa akin yan. Inhibitor switch ang problem. Papalitan nila yan basta under warranty ka pa. I remember pag nawal yung letter sa dashboard tapos from N to D parang may konting jerking na nangyayari.

    Thanks mga sirs! Mabuti isang solution lang makakasolve sa dalawang problem ko sa kotse. Will call the casa to schedule and checked.

    Guys, sa mga may diesel na tucson. Sumisipol ba yung turbo nyo when accelerating? I understand na ang turbo kasi nag whistle talaga pag in a quiet place and pag open yung windows. Yung sakin kasi medyo bothersome na. Kasi kahit sarado windows and radio on, I can still hear the whistling sound inside the cabin. It gets louder as the revs go up. Should this be a cause for concern?

    na repair na ng casa yung unit ko..

    jerking when shifting to D, NO display kung anong gear kana, medyo mabigat ang feeling at pag mag overtake in high-rev may noise pag mag down shift xa..

    pero OKAY na ngayon..

    At any speed sir. Yung sipol niya hindi gaya nung sa mga fort at Monty. Yung sipol is dependent on the engine rpm. The higher the rpm the louder the whistle. Yung sound ng whistle parehas dun sa mga tractor trucks...or to an extent dun sa mga pampasaherong jeep, albeit mas mahina yung Volume hehe. Last 15k pms ko may findings yung casa na whistling turbo. Sa inyo ba may ganun din?

    parang hindi sya sumisipol ng parang fortuner at low speed sumisipol na, dahil ata waste gate turbo lang yung atin kaya ganun? hindi ko lang sure.

    Diba electronic variable geometry turbo yung tucson na diesel? Iba yun sa waste gate right?

    20000 km na ang 2011 Tucson 2.0 crdi AT namin.
    Good points.
    1. Fuel economy at 11-12 km per liter city driving.
    2. Good A/C pa rin.
    Bad points.
    1. Noisy brakes.
    2. Damaged rubber button of remote key.
    3. Malfunctioning key switch. The key alarm still beeps even when keys are already removed. You have to press the key switch with a finger.
    Overall is good but not as durable as our 2009 Honda civic.

    Wow exactly the same yung bad points natin hehe. But mine has got the irritating turbo whistling sound

    Dinala ko sa casa ang tucson 2011 for 25K pms (only 14121km odo reading) at pina check ko ang whistling sound at diagnose daw ng service center is baka sa turbo daw, still waiting for todays update to confirm. Dinala ko ng probinsya and travel around Panay island and average consumption for the whole trip hanggang makabalik ng fairview is 13.3 km/ltr.

    Ano na update dun sa whistling turbo mo sir? Ganun din sakin ang sabi normal daw. Kasi walang makita na error code.

    4 days natulog sa Hyundai quezon avenue ang tucson ko sir at para check daw nila maigi at yun Hindi ang conclusion nila ay sa turbo daw talaga. Ginawan na lang ng report sir at try daw nila claim sa extended warranty. Antay pa ako ng tawag nila sir kung ano ang maging resulta sa warranty claim.

    Same pala tayo ng casa na pinasok. Sa Quezon Ave ko rin pina warranty. 3 days din yung tucson ko doon pero wala rin makitang sira daw.. Or so they say. What's weird is a few weeks earlier, nung pinasok ko si tucson for the 15k pms sila pa mismo ang nagsabi na ipa Check yung turbo kasi may whistling sound. And naka indicate din yun sa recommendation sa job order ng 15k pms. So nung nag claim nako ng warranty biglang bwelta sila na wala daw problema. Pasok pa ako sa original warranty kasi since 2 years old palang yung unit. Alam ko pag extended warranty na pahirapan na mag claim. Sino pala SA na nag asikaso sayo?

    My 2010 Tucson gas GLS air con acted up again, a year ago the air con hose leaked which is covered by Hyundai's warranty up to 3 years only and mine leaked on the 4th year so had it repaired at Ceejays in laspinas. Now a year after, the compressor's magnetic clutch gave up, from first start in the a.m. it will engage blowing cold air but after like 20 mns. or my next stop it won't turn back on. This same compressor was replaced by warranty after just 2 years by hyundai after a stuck up pulley stalled the engine on Edsa dangerously. My 5th yr. Ended just this march and this happened, I didn't want to go to Hyundai anymore and haggle so it's back to Ceejays which I have come to trust for their service. The magnetic clutch at first had no replacement so initially it was to be repaired but after taking it out of the compressor a denso m.clutch was a direct replacement so it was just a replace-a-part job which took for most 2 hours. Ceejays has a very nice and clean customer Lounge, air conditioned with wide screen cable TV so the wait wasn't boring and I got to watch the gonzaga vs crocop 2nd ufc fight which was a good one. Next repair is a rack and pinion hose I spotted leaking steering fluid. That is how good Hyundai's quality is.

    help.... after 5 yrs bumigay na ung dalawang "lift gate poles" sa likuran ng tucson ko di alam ang proper term dun e. . meaning to say di na ma lift pataas ung pinto sa likod. parang wala nang hangin. ano ba to narerepair or bili ba agad ng pares. any idea kung san available and its pricing para may idea ako.

    Rear Door Stay Damper. Pinapalitan na lang yan. Replacement brand costs around P600/pc. Canvass ka na lang sa nearest auto shop sa location mo.
