Sir cocoy, unfortunately I don't have a wiring diagram for the Starex or the 4d56 engine.

thank you anyways sir otep. i guess il have to do it the hard way and get under the van... hehe... by the way sir.. as you made i have read we travelled to mindanao on our starex.. when we got to liloan the aircon stopped working, i thought the belts were losen by the really bad roads in samar, but when i tightened the belts it was still the same. the compressor was working but it was not producing cold air... so after the RORO ride to surigao i thought there had to be a leak in the system, but i was wondering as to why the freon never ran out.. so we just loaded freon.. and went on our way to cagayan de or.. exatly one week later.. i notice the compressor not cycling on and off. so i figure maybe it was running out of freon again.. so while in cagayan we loaded it wit freon again.. i thought if it will last i week then we can load it again brfore the trip back here.. so off we went to bukidnon and then to digos city.. but up to now the aircon seems to be fine.. i havnt done anything bout it because it worked fine on our trip back here..i was just wondering if there is an explaination for what happened... thank you sir...

I will be test driving a starex 2002 model svx a/t. Please advice me some pointers regarding a/t tranny shifting, model differences 2000&2002 everything that would make me and my family have a best buy for our money. Hope to hear responses o you guys. Thanks

Hi guys! AM new in this forum. I have a 1999 Starex na turbo lang. More than 5 year na siya and i'm thingking of giving a complete fix-up. Pahilamusan ko siya and i wnat oll the under chassis stuff checked and replaced hoping to get back a smooth ide with it.

DO you guys suggest a service center or shop that will charge me modetsly for such a service?

You can bypass Urdaneta by traversing Calasiao,Malasiqui Lareg-lareg then Villasis and off you go to Manila so that you can avoid the bumpy road and traffic. Try it.

Guys there will be an EB scheduled on January 17, 2007 that was set by Silvermags for all starex owners. everyone is welcome.

Thanks. I've tried that route a couple of times. The problem is, I can't really bypass Urdaneta since I live in Urdaneta. Anyway, I usually just take the secondary roads to minimize my exposure to the rough roads and traffic on the main highway

i have a millenium starex and my only problem is a rattle felt at the steering column usually when travelling in rough roads or when hitting a small pothole. parang may kumakalog sa may steering column. the tie rod ends, steering rack ends, ball joints and bushings were already replaced. saan kaya ang problem? is it a damaged bearing sa column or sa may rack and pinion?

mga sir,, need help lang po.. kanina nung chi-neck ko yung fuse box ng starex ko, napansin ko na walang fuse na nakalagay sa ABS/4WD slot, tanong ko lang po kung anong klaseng fuse po ito (black na med size) at kung may voltage po ba ito.. walang nakalagay sa cover eh at wla din po akong owners manual ng starex ko.. thanks.
