Ouch! So sorry for all the owners who's vehicles got submerged by the flood and didn't have any AOG covered in their policies. It will be pretty expensive to repair and quite difficult to sell these vehicles on the 2nd hand market. Buyers are definitely wary of purchasing 'flooded' cars. Owners can opt selling their car for its parts na lang.

Pictures like that from Ondoy really breaks my heart lalo na yung mga first time brand-new owners na pinaghirapan nilang makuha ang oto nila.
Simply no words to describe that horrible feeling.
I hope that we won't experience anything like this in the near future.

kung kaya naman pa-repair try having it fixed na lang muna upto the best condition it can achieve. pakiramdaman mo sir, if hindi ka pa din satisfied sa naging performance then maybe its time to sell your SF but be ready for a low disposal price.

isipin na lang natin na mga material na bagay lang most of these at hindi tulad ng more devastating like lindol. heard meron din daw mga trapped and flooded sa underground parking wherein di kaya pasukin ng crane and towing trucks. paano ilalabas yung mga yun? mano mano itutulak?

yung 2008 Montero ng isang seller sa sulit.com, nabaha din ng lubog hanggang bubong, then he tried to start it at nagstart naman, lahat ng electricals working properly at itinakbo pa nya at normal naman daw at walang pugak ang andar.
but then he wants to sell it para makapagsimula ulit sila, may 2 buy&sell na daw na tumingin at tinest drive pa kaso binarat ng 500K.
now, he was able to sell it to his wife's officemate at 800k pa.
baka po yung SF nyo tatakbo pa rin

Its possible the SF can still survive but I wouldn't dare start it until the experts can look at it first just to be sure...
