What is the bulb specification for our foglight?H7 din? Was wanting to buy a yellow one.
Hello Sir! Ok po ang yellow builb! Kami naka yellow din kaya lang I would suggest na Yellow HID na lang kase yung ordinary hallogen can melt the plastic reflector.
Pero if you don't want to change it for a yellow HID, ok rin naman yung yellow hallogen basta wag lang gamitin ng long periods of time...
Siguro kung long drives, dapat ata every hour patayin na lang para hindi nga matunaw ang plastic reflector. Actually naman nasa pag gamit din naman po iyon di po ba?
Sir, siguro maganda nga 3000K Yellow HID na lang! (hehehehe)
Thanks for all the suggestion. Wala na kasi ako budget for HID sa Fogs eh. I was just thinking to do a HID for low, the white bulbs for High, then yun nga yellow for fogs. Pero from the look of things, mukhang delikado yung yellow na fogs. Bka matunaw nga.
just for kicks, how much are yellow HIDs?
HID on fog lamps is a definite no-no... try reading up the HID FAQ thread in here: http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20763
HIDs should only be used with projector lamps due to the different reflection of halogen & hid light on a reflector-style lamp. Heck, even high-end vehicles don't use HIDs on their fog lamps.
The Santa Fe only has projector lamps for the low-beam lights., using HID on the high-beam and fog lamps will only produce glare (which can irritate and even blind other motorists) and more foreground light (which will effectively lessen your forward vision due to the optical limitation of our eyes).
Should you use HID for your fog lamps, you should be responsible enough when using it.
Try asking yourself first, "What is the purpose of changing your lights to HIDs?" Do you really need it or not? If you think you do, take note of the following:
Use your HIDs only when needed...
- Do not use it for city driving
- Do not use it for aesthetic purposes only
- Do not use it in heavy traffic
- Do not use it if its a two way street
- Please do not use it to annoy people or other drivers
I guess, we are all responsible drivers here and just in case you happen to have those types of lamps/lights to your cars, do take care and remember to respect other drivers and pedestrians as well. Think about it!
- You can use it during heavy rains
- You can use it on a very dark road or street
- You can use it at night on hi-ways as long as the two opposite lanes are far apart.
Konting disiplina mga kapatid... Take care and drive safe!![]()

Hello Sir! According to some experts po, kung may tint ang windshield ninyo and the antenna is under the tint, ang tendency daw po, the signal bounces back outside giving you a bad signal or no signal at all. Dapat daw po yung part na may antenna ay walang tint or the tint should be cut para makakuha ng signal daw po.
What I did kase, I had another antenna installed sa likod ng SF na indoor/outdoor antenna... Pero we had to cut a small portion of the tint for the interior to receive a good signal from the exterior antenna.
had my 10k PMS last April....(regular oil/oil filter changed)
