    Thanks SG.

actually, dapat nga doon ako, but if it wasn't for EJ. anyhow, palpak na sila sa akin.

Meron pala nag post, yun din gusto ko malaman, ano mga kasama sa mga regular PMS nila, what do they check or not check. Sa mitsubishi and honda meron sila check list on what they check during each regular PMS.

Today, i checked my car, minor lang, but one of the clips wasn't clipped on. this is on the air filter cover. aside from that, yung oil mas mataas sa dipstick level na full, but observe ko na lang ulit, maybe hindi ganun ka straight ang garage ko.

I think that's the Hyundai branch that SG suggested to me when trying to find a quote for my unit. Tapos na ba yun renovations nila? I still remember their SA being so accomodating

Hehehe

    Feedback: AVOID THIS SERVICE DEALERSHIP

I just had my 10K PMS today at my selling dealership. So this will be my 3rd time having service there. The first two PMS, I had no problem. But today I experience panloloko.

Came in today at around 1:30pm, i was number 19 and 2nd to the last for that day PMS. Let's just say, the car was logged in after an hour and a half, ganun sila ka bagal kumilos. I only saw one Service Advisor logging in all the cars being PMS.

3:50pm, finally my car was being driven in to start with it's PMS. 4:20-4:25 the car was being moved from the service area to the area where they washed cars. My car was cleaned, so right away, I told the guard if my car was for washing and if it is, to cancel the wash as the car was very cleaned.

Here is the incident, as the Service Advisor said, 10K PMS plus clean and adjust brakes. Okay, I was surprised that it needed that already, but if it's standard, then fine with me.

The whole entire time my car was being service, I kept checking on what they were doing at the customer lounge. I was wondering how they will clean and adjust my brakes without taking off the wheels. so I watched every movement of the technicians from loosening the bolts, they lifted the car so they can drain the oil, they blew air for the air filter, etc. But never did i see them take off the wheels. I also saw them bring down the car and tighten the bolts.

Then I was checking if they will clean and adjust the brakes, and guess what, wala.

I told the Service advisor and the mechanic said he cleaned and adjusted the brakes..i said, how can you clean the brakes without taking off the wheels. He said, he did. I said, i've been watching you work the whole time, i never even saw one of the wheels coming off from the lugs, but yes, i saw you loosen the nuts and tighten the nuts, but never did the nuts came off from the lugs.

Another thing, Hyundai Dasma will be charging me P420 bucks for adjusting and cleaning the brakes. Is cleaning just spraying brake cleaner on the pads? I asked the adjustments for the parking brakes, no need daw kasi all disc brakes siya. So why charge me for something it doesnt need.

Eto lang mga tsikoteers, its really hard to leave our cars in dealership and all these things being done, but we really dont know if it's done or not.

I'm glad I was there the whole time, less than an hour, 10K PMS was done with brake cleaning and adjustments as per mechanic, but as per me observing, it was just change oil with air being blown on the air filter.

Their mechanic was lying through his teeth with other mechanics on his side. He didn't know I was observing them the whole time. One even said, sir, hindi he asked pa nga if dapat rotate ang tires eh. Sabi ko.. of course hindi pwede rotate ang tires ng Genesis coupe, iba ang front and rear size ng mags/tires and the rotation of the tires cannot be moved from FR to FL and vice versa. They choose the wrong person to fool.

I have no problem sa brakes ko or the parking brake.

Maybe , again , maybe because 10k PMS labor is no longer free, they will add all these things that cars don't need.

So, no more Hyundai Dasmarinas ako, hanap na lang ako ibang Dealership and definitely, i'll be watching the work being done again.

    So avoid Hyundai Dasmarinas.

but the thing is, if I always guard my car during service, sayang din oras if i'm going to do it to each of my car, may tarbaho pa.

Pagawa mo sa labas, you lose the warranty. O pwede rin you buy genuine parts from Fronte, Good Gear or Seiring tapos pagawa mo sa Casa.

di naman kasi yung cost ang issue, ang issue e ang "5 year warranty" tapos e ginawa nila na every 5k/3 months ang PMS. the hyundai manual says 10k/6 months, the HARI service passport says 5k/3months. ano ba ang dapat masunod, ang HARI o ang Hyundai? also, e di ang labas nyan pag di ka naman naka-5000 km in 3 months then you are paying for something you do not need (like me coding and weekend car ko lang yung GS). and the catch is if you don't then you lose the warranty. ang nangyari e ginawa tayo ng HARI na HOSTAGE sa 5 year warranty scheme nila. or is it a 5 year SCAM? alam naman nila na takot ang buyer na mawala ang warranty ng sasakyan, so they "extended" the warranty period from 3 years to 5 years, in effect tying you, the consumer, to have the service in their casas for another 2 years. and they get more from it since they then made the service 5k/3 months instead of what is written in the Hyundai manual as 10k/6 months!!!

i had already brought this up several times with Hyundai Balintawak. they admitted that due to this 5 yr warranty x 5k/3 months schedule many customers have complained, as I did, about the service schedule being too short as compared to what the manual says. they said they could not do anything about it as this was what HARI wanted. only good thing that came out about my ranting to them was they gave me free oil for my 5k service!

kaya nga ang gagawin ko ngayon e i will use the GS as much as possible (yung sta fe na ang coding car) so at least masulit ko naman yung every 3 months na PMS. also after 2 years e junk the warranty scam of HARI and have the GS serviced in my trusted talyer.

yebo: hi sir, sa akin naman po, hindi sinusunod ang months, they go with KM. yang ang explanation sa akin.

my 1 year old Hyundai had 1K, 5K, and 10K PMS in a year, kasi, my Hyundai travelled 10k in a year.

    ---

I always go with the km reading as basis for the PMS. As what has been told here, pwede naman bumili ng consumables sa labas and just have the service sa casa. Kapag friend mo naman ang casa, other deals can also be arranged.

i am planning to buy a 2nd hand Hyundai Getz. this unit was acquired last sept. 2009 and for whatever reason, the owner surrendered it to the bank where he got the car on May 2010. so literally the car only runs for a few months. the unit's mileage is only 13k and i'm wondering if its still under warranty. i tried to call the dealership where it was originally bought and they told me that the warranty is already void since they couldn't find any service record of the car from their database. I was in desperation in finding the first owner of the car and check with him if he still has the PMS record of the car so i can bring it where he had the car serviced. does it really voids the warranty if the car has not been used for a while? appreciate much if you ca suggest a better service center where i can bring the car once delivered to have it checked before i use it. TIA.
