    Sorry, na-Alzheimers.

15w-50 is too thick for my taste. It's slightly thinner than 20w-50 but then due to the temps, it'll feel more of the 50 anyways. The SL part is ok.

Usually 'energy conserving' oils are 5w-30 or 10w-30, so you can compare how thin that is to yours. This is probably the reason for your sluggish engine.

^ nothing to void kung hindi masisira engine

sa policy ngayon, intact nga warranty, pangit o baka sirain pa ng HGMO yung engine

15w-50 does explain the more sluggish engine. ganun pa din ba pag normal running temp na or as before?

sana mag-improve in a few more days

5w-20 or 5w-30 yata (paki check sa manual)

ang recommended oil viscosity sa Theta II engine.

so ang available oil is Motul H-Tech 100 5w-30 or SHell helix ultra 5w-30.

kaso ayun nga, ayaw ng casa pumayag magdala ng sariling oil

Hi guys, newbie here! Just a question lang po. One month na yung Tucson ko tomorrow but 400kms pa lang sya. Pwede na ba yun i-change oil? Or wait pa til it reach 1000kms?

Sundin mo yung 3 months or 1K whichver comes first, since di ka pa sure kung walang lalabas na problema ang oto mo.

Pero after that, unless may lumabas na issue, Just follow the mileage ...
In my case, 9 months bago ako nagpa 5K PMS ng tucson ko.
Yung elantra naman, almost a year bago nakapag 5K PMS hehehe

Yes sir pwede ka pa-change oil sa kanila

    Motul gamit nila oil.

Sa Fronte / Seiring or Good Gear ako bumibili ng parts. Karamihan available dun.

    Hi Guys,

Ive been backreading for info and reached page 60 , trying to research for 10,000 PMS. Saw lots of information (not all about 10k or my car-Accent) , i tried taking notes din but i hope ok lang magtanong...

Ive read some casas to be avoided (Greenhills, Commonwealth) and some who are recommended. (Central Edsa.. altho may conflicting reports din)

Just some questions/clarifications and summary for the info i got so far:

    1. Is Central Edsa different from North Edsa? If so, which is better?

    2. For Accent 2011 A/T - 10,000k PMS, whats the estimated cost (and at which casa is it best to go)

    3. FULLY SYNTHETIC ba talaga? or pwede semi-synthtic? (Its 4L right?)

    4. NECESSARY ba talaga HGMO or otherwise void warranty? Im confused because last time I had my 5K PMS, regular oil lang ginamit nila ( i wanted semi-synthetic, wala daw. And i didnt want fully synthetic bec 5k pa lang naman) But they didnt inform me warranty will be voided or not if they used regular oil.

I just checked my Service passport. 1K says SEMI, 5K says Regular. No mention if its HGMO or what. So how can they tell if ever you claim warranty in the future? Unless its for 10K and above only? Confusing....

    5. I saw the sample bill from CENTRAL EDSA for 10k (thanks for that post btw, those kind of posts are very useful). But I dont think its for Accent though.

That bill shows 2,000 labor (change oil, air cleaner, tighten bolts, check up etc) Standard na yan?

    Parts - Air Cleaner 998, Filter Assy-Engine oil -610

Total bill for that is 5,297. Owner brought his own oil (no mention of corkage fee.. conflicting reports if they allow owner's oil and if may corkage fee)

I also read HGMO is 678/l so 4 liters is 2,712 na so if you add it all, a 10k PMS (including HGMO) at Central Edsa will cost php 8,472 na.

    6. Someone posted that

"Mahal din pala mag charge yung Hyundai central edsa, yung 10k pms ko sa pitstop nasa

3.6k lang, that's also excluding oil." (vs 5,760)

    7. So Air cleaner and Oil Filter lang ang kelangan talaga? Whats that "Filter Assy-Engine oil"? No need for new spark plugs, brake pads, wheel alignment etc (as ive seen some posters complain about) So I will just refuse if they "recommend" to change them? Whats worse is they just do whatever changes they want without asking first so its better to talk with them first before they do anything so theres no "surprises".

So as you can see, im trying to do research para di naman ako maloko. Thats why Im asking for advice on wheres the best Casa to go to for 10k PMS and approx cost, what oil to use, bring own oil, etc

Hope some folks can share their experiences and tips here as well... Thanks!

the best thing is mag pa quote ka muna 678 per liter sa fully synthetic and 350 sa semi naman check nyo na lang gauges ng labor nila and ang alam ko may 1 price policy na sila kaya dapat pare parehas na yan mga quotation nila

^sad to say that in our beloved country consumer protection is not even in the backseat of our beloved government. it was thrown out the window of the government's limousine 10 hours ago while going 180kmph.
