    Hi guys

Could you help me with some local knowledge? I have been living in Manila for some 7 months in the past 1,5 year. and soon IŽll be back for good.
I have been trying to located my new (maybe) car online. (I know its not the best place to look, but IŽm in Europe) :-)

At home I drive a VW Lupo which runs about 30km pr liter so nothing can really compare. But the Hyundai Matrix 1,5 CRDI really sound promissing :D
So is it possible to buy them at the local dealers or are people not letting them go once they buy them :D

    Hope you can help me

    Thanks
    NS

NB: it has to be used, but in good condition.

They're not common, but they sometimes come up for sale. Expect to pay around 350k for one... but you should try before you buy and check the condition of the fuel system.

yeah I know, but its too expensive in part and when its in the shop, you really have to know what your doing. There are only a few shops in Denmark that really knows how to work on them.
But hopefully in the future, it should be sold world wide :D

Might be harder now since the Matrix has been discontinued to be sold by HARI (the local distributor of Hyundai vehicles). And don't expect 30km/L like fuel economy in the Philippines. We have terrible traffic here, hot climate...

Well... on the NLEX, it's possible to touch 25 km/l... but everywhere else, expect around 15 km/l from a 1.5 liter CRDi.

Just watch out for some posting here in tsikot. Once and a while there will be posting here. But so far prices are still around 400K up.

I got mine after some heartbreaking negotiation for 390K
