    Hi Starex owners out there!

I'd like to make a survey from you guys as to how much really is the average fuel consumption of your ride. I'm confused kase with the info I get from sales rep and from owners whom I get to talk to. Sabi ng sales rep 9-10 km/L daw sa city drive while sabi naman ng officemate ko 5-6 km/L lang, and well-maintained na yun. Anyway, perhaps its better to hear it from you guys, just a little survey coz i'm interested in buying one

    1. Average Fuel Consumption per city driving
    2. Average Fuel Consumption per highway driving
    3. year model / MT or AT / CRDi or TCI / GRX or SVX whatever

    Thanks in advance

para sa mga users, ano ang consumption nyo?

I know may thread for over-all consumption, pero specifically for the 1.4 models... either MT or AT... isa to sa mga choices ko so I'm trying to weigh my options

    Thanks!

Hindi nalalau sa 1.1. Kung gusto mong malaking tipid sa gas, CRDi.

Pero sa accessories pa lang bawi ka na sa 1.4 vs 1.1 or any other base/entry level car, so kung afford mo, get it.

~14km/liter for my 1.4MT Getz and might increase at long driving.

AFAIK, the diesel engine may have a slightly higher consumption or the same consumption (in km per liter) as its gasoline counterpart. What makes the diesel engine economical is its running cost (in km per peso) since diesel is a lot more cheaper than gasoline.

Not with the Getz, or any CRDi car.

Take note, talo ng Getz CRDi ang Prius sa FC. San ka pa?

Diesel by nature is much more energy-dense than gasoline. Ergo, modern diesels are usually more economical than their gasoline counterparts. Heck, diesel even produces less CO2 than gasoline---important in countries like the UK because they get taxed for CO2 emissions.

You obviously have not been reading any European car magazines or websites...
