ABS does not add stopping power. It's there for handling, specifically to avoid your wheels from locking in sudden braking.

i don't know what stopping power means is to you, but ABS cars have shorter stopping distance compared to non-ABS as proven by actual demo...

yes to both.
abs minimizes skidding, thus shortening braking distance compared to a skidding vehicle.
and because skidding is avoided, direction of vehicle movement can also be controlled. ...something a skidding vehicle can not be coaxed to do as easily.

what i did with my non-hyundai, is i did not remove the protective clear plastic on the sill. it's there still, after 3 years, protecting my paint from scuff. pangit tignan, dahil kitang kita ang mga marka ng sapatos, but the paint job underneath is still un-blemished.

Kakukuha ko lang ng Eon ko last Saturday, tanong po sa mga co-eon owners, ilan bars po ang temperature gauge reading nyo? 3 bars po ba?
Saan po magandang bumili ng mga accessories gaya ng door guard at hub caps?
