Crdi sya with turbo vgt, keyless entry but no alarm, with ABS, airbag driver side lang, metal rims lang with hubcap, simple radio/stereo, with insulator under the hood yan ang alam ko sa latest variant. And base sa curbweight and grossweight nya mga 400 kilos ang pwede load kasama na driver and oh may sportronic sya by the way yung +/- manual mode

Actually merong alarm. Walang tunog pag arm/disarm pero kung i-lock mo gamit ang remote tapos unlock gamit ang susi tutunog ang alarm pagbukas ng pinto. Additional specs: disk brakes front and rear, no turn signal repeaters sa side mirror, and no audio controls on steering wheel.

I sat on a sedan version of accent 7DCT a few days ago and it has dual airbags.

I think it's still too early to tell. The DCT of Ford was full of problems from the start, but there were a lot of units being used as compared to the DCT of the Accent. I hope the engineering is a lot better than that of Ford's.

Medyo matagal na din naman ang dual clutch ng Hyundai. If i'm not mistaken, it was developed from the ground up by Hyundai mismo. as far as i can remember, its been at least 5 years since first used on teh hyundai velocitor model overseas.

I'm also hoping its better than Ford's DCT.

The dct itself i think walang issue together with the engine so far. Its the car itself kasi i heard several issues sa mga naunang accent like EPS, rack and pinion, shocks etc.

I am from the south (mindanao), unfortunately the prices here higher than in manila because of the cargo/handling, usually higher by 30k plus. I wil be using this on long drives thru hilly terrain. I have read of the good fuel economy, what are the other pros? I have been reading the hatchback thread, hopefully there is a thread for the sedan. TIA

Get it sir. You wont regret. Accent crdi mt user here for more than 1 year with 28k on the odo. Fast and fuel efficient

You won't have any problems going through mountainous roads. It has more than enough power to get up steep ascents & suspension is stable enough for those sharp turns. The cons? The ground clearance is kinda low, so you have to be careful of unpaved roads where it has a tendency to scrape it's under-chassis if you are not careful. The chin also has a tendency to scrape mall tire stops if you are not careful, so with this car, it's always better to park reversed.

I am not sure if it is lower than other sedans, though I see other car brands out there that are low also. Just like other cars, if you load the car with 5 full sized adults, the car will visibly sink & you can scrape the belly on high humps.

If I am not mistaken, the load rating is 400 kg. More than that & it may sink. As an entry level car, it is the same as it's counterparts from the makes, like the M2, Vios... In my opinion, as an Accent user for the past 77k kms, it is well worth the dough I spent for it.
