Can someone whoo owns a unit clarify if the rear brake is drum or disc? Im confused because in the specs sheet obtainable at dealers it says front discs rear drum. But in actual ive seen units with all discs front and rear

I'm planning to upgrade the following:
1. Headunit - Plan to replace the stock headunit asap (hindi touchscreen and 1din lang yung nakakabit) with this one from FlyAudio![]()
2. Foglight - Since walang foglight na naka install, can you recommend any shops na okay ang deal ng foglight?
I'm also planning to upgrade the wheels. Standard naka kabit is 175/70 R14 Tires. Ano po yung max wheel size na pwede ikabit without voiding the warranty?

Meron pong hill start assist ang DCT, press brake lang po ng madiin within 2 secs then di na sya aatras, parang naka engage ang brake (similar sa hand brake and tunog )
kapag aapak ka na ng gas ramdam mo na parang nag disengage na yung brake

I saw that on facebook somebody posted. The comments so far were just to use manual until makabwelo then ibabalik sa auto. I mean is that really the solution?
How new is the driver? Normally the dct will switch between 1st and 2nd gears when the accelerator is not steady especially in crawling traffic. He shouldnt use manual mode. He should practice more with the accelerator.
Guys question lang sa diesel dct. Delayed nga ba ang pag downshift nya? For example if you're driving tapos nag menor ka na or brake pero tumatakbo pa din tapos bigla apak ulit sa accelerator mabilis naman sya mag downshift?

I don't have DCT car. In conventional AT pag nag menor by way of brake talagang matagal yan mag down shift, depende gaano kabilis mag menor ang speed other wise use minus (-) sa manual mode. Kung sa "D" mode then bigla mo itapak ang accelarator pedal natural mag downshift yan kasi ang TCM interprets it that you want power (torque).

not dct though pero ang 6AT ng kia carens (baka ganito din ang hyundai) ay ganyan pag naka ECO mode, nagtatagal siya sa higher gear, mabilis mag up shift slow to down shift for fuel economy. pag tinapakan bigla ang acc pedal natural mag down shift dahil ang pagka alam ng ecu you need power & torque.
Depende sa tapak and sa incline/decline. Even 4at ganyan din naman.

Sa mga AT kailangan I reset then do a re-learn sequence to re- calibrate the TCM. Baka ganito din ang kailangan gawin sa 7DCT.

Bad experienced po sa akin. I bought my Hatch 7 DCT crdi 2mos. ago, May 27/ 2016. Pag labas ko palang ng showroom may jerking na almost mamatay yun engine, akala ko cold start lang dahil pataas ang ramp ng showroom sa East Hyundai Dealer. The next day After 20mins. normal driving sa sth service rd. mag overtake ako sa huminto na PUJ bigla nag stall engine. Same scenario nangyari ulit sumunod na araw. Pag report ko sa Hyundai asking na replace yun vehicle, normal daw sa DCT nila ang jerking and mag stall ang engine at vehicle replacement not reccomended daw dahil covered daw ng 5yrs warranty. May report na ako sa DTI para sa consumer act dahil medyo madaming alibi at abnormalities sa DCT trans na pinipilit nila OK daw at NORMAL lang.
Sa DTI they"HYUNDAI" offered me Tucson dahil traditional trans daw yunat smooth ang shifting.
Pag-aralan nyo po muna bago kayo kumuha. mahirap sila kausap once naka sign at na released na vehicle mo.

From HARi tech ang problem daw pero normal daw, mabagal ang pag down shift from 2nd - 1st kaya may jerking to heavy jerking. at ramdam nyo yun shifting ng gear from 3rd to 4th and 5th - 6th not smooth shifting po.
Anytime pwedeng mamatay yun engine while driving lalo na pag paarangkada ka palang. Medyo delikado specially pag nag-oovertake ka.
Sa ngayon same daw ang VELOSTER at ACCENT na naka DCT na may parehas na trans behavior.
Research/youtube kayo to fully understand DCT. In summary, kung heavy stop and go trapik usually ang route nyo. Stay away with dct. Mapa wet type or dry type, hindi talaga sya comparable sa smoothness ng conventional torque converter type autos. Para lang din kasi syang manual transmission, kaso imbes na left foot mo ang mag actuate ng clutch, PWM controlled solenoid ang mag actuate based sa mga inputs na binigay sa kanya like rpm, road speed, etc... Dun nagkakaroon ng problema being computer vs. Human feel sa pag engage ng clutch.

been searching for google and sa wakas may nakita din akong similar case.
wala pang 1 month yung Hyundai Accent Hatchback 7 DCT ko.
Naranasan ko na namatayan ng makina, dalawang sasakyan na din ang nadisgrasya ko at naurungan. Traumatized na ako ngayon at ayaw ko ng gamitin ang sasakyan ko.
Lumapit na din ako sa dealer ko. Pina road test, computer check, lahat na ng check ginawa. Inorient ako regarding sa DCT, tinuruan din ako proper driving techniques pag gamit mo DCT. Normal lang daw ito, at lahat daw ng DCT ganito.
Ano kaya ang magandang gawin. I am very very disappointed, pwede bang ilaban to at ipapalit or money back?
Naka down payment po ako kagad na 50% , so medyo mahirapan ako lumaban.
