Sa traffic situation natin ngayon, I would say that it's all worth it to get the A/T version...relaxed ka lang sa pag drive. Hindi ka na laging magti-timpla sa clutch-gas pedals during slow moving traffic in the city. Okay lang ang manual kung laging out of town/long-trip driving.![]()
granted, AT is nice in stop-and-go driving.
but is the motorist willing to pay for the convenience? ATs cost more, have more maintenance problems, and eat more fuel..
i know of people who remain MT'd because of the increased cost of AT driving.
would i shift to AT? only if i get a raise..
Most should, in fact, be able to pay for the convenience. Remember, a car IS a convenience.
In daily city traffic, I'll also echo the same sentiments. Pony up for the A/T. The A/T may be more complex and harder to diagnose than M/T... but are they more maintenance-free? Not really. A/T trannies nowadays are well-built.
For the less veteran road drivers out there (ex. your mom) a A/T transmission might be a better choice than M/T over the long run. Don't expect everybody to be master the clutch -- sometimes you miss a gear and that really puts a strain on your parts. So if we're talking about pure reliability, I'll probably go vote for A/T. It's easy as hell -- stop and go.
Thanks you po sir cascais!
Cguro po mag-ipon na lang ako for the AT hatch. Nakakalungkot lang maraming features ang natanggal sa bagong AT.
Do you know guys what are those features na wala na sa bagong AT? Thanks po in advance!
wala na din bluetooth yung head unit pati yung audio controls sa steering.. tsaka yung center console compartment/sliding armrest wala na sa 2014 accent hb..
shucks... sana iyong bagong price na P968k for the TOTL includes and has more improvements over last year's AT, like 6-speed auto transmission na sana, ndi lang 4

^Sir plug & play lang ba nagamit pa din ba yun sa steering control? Tsaka magkano po inabot?
Question: Can you change the setting for the trip computer so that the fuel consumption is displayed in km/l rather than l/100 km?
