Getting a Hyundai Getz, need some feedback please

Hi guys, im planning to get a car a friend of Mine is selling

• 2007 Hyundai Getz 1.1
• Green Color
• all original
• no accidents
• and when mechanic checked, no problems with engine or exterior or interiors
• LTO and Insurance renewed just last month
• with a free full tank of gas
• and seems to be in excellent condition

• Location: Visayas Area
  
• Asking price, initially 245k, but was able to get it down to 230k

Question is, with all Ive stated above, does the condition and year of the car justify the price? is it a reasonable amount?

i also own a 1.1 2007 Getz. I think if without issues, the price would be ok.

things to check:

a) engine oil leaks.
b) radiator and cooling system.
c) suspension bushings and shocks.
d) check mo din condition ng interior and exterior lights, kasama sa dashboard and panel.... mabilis mapundi yun eh.

Green? Hindi kaya repainted na yan? If you have a friend with an OBD scanner, you might want to borrow it and check for the fault history stored in the ECU.

Mga bossing, paadvice ako sa inyo. I am planning to buy a 2nd hand car. Dalawa ang kinocompare ko sa ngayon: a honda city 2002 model with 147k mileage (*182k php) and a Hyundai Getz 1.1 2010 model with 36k mileage (*230k php). Which one po ang pinaka magandang pick.

I'm weighing between:
- power
- fuel efficiency
- maintenance costs
- reliability in long distance travel
- and quality

A 7 year old car with 36K mileage is suspect. Beside, too many issues with getz and it has stopped production a few years ago.

the honda for me.
there are more of those hondas running around today, than the hyundai.
it is usually easier to find spare parts for a popular car, than for one that is not as popular. you can do much with that 48K...

i read a review on a used model.
it seems, the fuel efficiency is not what one would have expected from a car this size.
