Do you follow the psi rating from the manual for your tires?

For me naman i follow the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure. tested na kasi sa plant nila bago sila mag mass productıon.

Pero na sa inyo na rin kung saan ba comfortable and kung ok ba. different people
different taste..

Recommended psi is at 35. Sometimes top up at 36psi para masmatagal yun "reair" intervals ko.

Gaano ba ka-dangerous (I mean in terms of tire wear) if I inflate it at 40psi?

adding 10% to the recommended tire pressure is usually ok. any more than that, and you risk premature tire failure (oblong). but i would not expect dramatic FC improvement just by over-inflating my tires.

Ako sinusunod ko yung nakasulat sa door jamb. 32 sa harap. 30 sa likod. honda jazz.

pero nung saturday (april 16) night, nagpa hangin ako sa petron sa e rodriguez corner t. morato. sabi ko sa attendant 32 sa harap, 30 sa likod. wala silang digital na gauge kaya yung attendant na ang pinahangin ko. di ako marunong e.

after ko magpahangin, napansin ko na parang ibang iba ang takbo. kapapagawa ko pa lang ng suspension kaya sabi ko baka di lang ako sanay.

pagdaan ko sa petron kanina (april 19) nagpahangin ako ng spare tire. pinasabay ko na rin yung harap at likod. nagtataka ako kasi yung lumabas sa digital na gauge nila 52! tinanong ko yung attendant kung may sira yung gauge nila. ok naman daw. pagdating sa kabilang side, 52 pa rin!

so for 2.5 days, sobrang tigas ng gulong ko sa harap. magtatagal pa kaya tong gulong ko?

I usually start with 32-35 psi and take it from there.

I follow the recommended 28 psi for my tires. But I inflate them at Cold temp early in the morning. Cause when the tires heat up, I think they'll add-up around 2-3 psi from the cold temp inflation so thats running at around 30-31 psi.


If the tires are over inflated you'll have uneven wear especially on the inner thread section. Save Gas, wear the tires...

Drivers door jamb label says 28-32 PSI, I inflate my tire to 34
