This new tucson is getting expensive at base price of 1.2M. that's subaru or hrv territory. Though bigger naman ang kaha, i guess that justifies ir

In the coming traffic nightmare that the MMDA is forseeing, those cvt, dct will only matter if you make weekly trips using the expressways . Going Bigger will be a disadvantage in the near future,

high maintenance? Regular maintenance lng mga kimchi cars outside Pinas like Toyotas. In Australia its a popular brand and not too many issues

Ang Pinas kasi may pagka special lagi. Naalala ko noon ayaw ng Kimchi car dahil daw mainit daw masyado weather natin. Hindi daw tropicalized, samantalang mas mainit pa sa ibang bansa pag summer.

High maintenance in a sense that it will be more expensive to maintain than the previous Tucson kse mahal na din ang SRP nito as well as it's just Korean brand pa din ..

Ang marketing edge lang lagi ng tucson is always the cheaper part, cheaper maintenance than the CRVs or Subarus of old, Pero sa haya ng itsura nito. A new tucson owner would spend the same or even more than a Subsru Forester owner

Forester service interval is tad worse than a hyundai because of their DirectInjection Engine which consumes oil recently in the US. Unaware

"Just a Korean brand pa din"

Wala kang magagawa eh talagang sa Korea naman talaga galing ang Hyundai. Sa Korea sa totoo lang napaka mura ng Hyundai. Kaya ko bumili ng tatlong Grand Starex HVX nang isang babaan lang ng pera. Mahal dito kasi:
    1. HARI is greedy
    2. Taxes
    3. Hello, nasa pinas tayo. Walang mura dito.

Maintenance wise, this won't be more expensive to maintain than the previous generation (2010-2014) that I own right now kasi
    1. Mine is the top of the line diesel 4WD, itong bago 2WD nalang. Minus agad sa maintenance ang rear differential fluid.
    2. Engine and transmission is the same, same parts used, same spare parts to install. Resulting to same price

I'm not defending the brand here ha, don't get me wrong. Just stating facts.

Di na kasi pwede mag ala Samsung ang mga Korean cars like what happened to Sony. Kaya natunugan na kagad ng ibang Japanese cars

Kung Tustin wala naman halos tinaas ang Mga current Cuvs, in fact, cx5, RAV4, crv, and even the xtrail are at price range of 1.3M Lapit na sa bago Tucson

With those as given, I can't see anymore Reason why Hyundai Tucson will sell as hotcakes as the previous gen. the new Tucson today is the ecosport.

Look at the Santa Fe, sa sales data barely make 500 since January 2015 while the Forts and Monteros corner the market pie

Noon Araw oo, lakas 2nd gen Santa Fe kasi nauna sya. Regular car buyers can't even differentiate crossover diesels and pickup based diesels anyway nowadays ,
