    Saw the actual unit earlier, it's not as great as shown in the tv commercial. Premium na daw yung nasa commercial which will be equal to sta fe price. They even doubt if that will hit this country of ours.

    The shell is the same but from the small picture, the day light under the fog lamp does not exist dun sa nakita ko na GLS AT variant. Wala din yung moon roof and the head unit is same with sta fe not the big screen type. Wala din navigation. If fairness, it's roomier & better than the current tucson.

    Awww. Ang layo pala. Sa commonwealth wala pa. Anyway, what's your impression? Im planning to have 1 this sept. Kaso im getting the gas one kasi ang mahal ng diesel. My budget is only 1.2M. Im looking for other alternatives kasi parang sa reviews fuel consumption in gas tucson are not that good.

    I wouldnt suggest getting the 2.0 Nu engine if fuel cost is of high importance. The HR-V would be better if 1.2M is your price range. But getting one might be a challenge - its number 1 seller in its segment in thailand/australia/usa and other markets i cant think of.

    I got an explo bro so that will be redundant. If only IPC had given me some discount or free LTO, i would have got the mux. I'm waiting for January and see what the price will be.

    Reason i've chosen the mux over the new tucson is that their about on the same price range (1.36M) yet mux is diesel, 2.5 turbo engine & can seat 7 while later is gas , 2.0 engine and only 5 seater. Fuel consumption wise, mux has longer mileage.

    I would imagine that the Tucson will be one of those in the top of the list; So is the new Everest....

    However, I agree,- the diesel Tucson is overpriced, and I am not buying it. I told the same thing to my Hyundai friends....

    I just hope that the 2016 events will happen (like what you're telling) to lower the SRPs of these (target) vehicles....
