I went for 30k pms for my MT Hyundai Accent, and guess how much they quoted me, 34k!! I'm telling you, none is broken or wrong with the car. So you can imagine how much more if it's a Santa Fe that you requested for service.

Of course I didn't avail of that quoted pms, I just went to my friendly neighborhood talyer to get the oil and filters changed, costed me a bit more than a couple grand.
Is it ok if you mention the casa for this? We're planning to buy a Hyundai very soon, might as well be aware of this earlier than later.

Baka naman ok ang PR, but kasi basing on what a previous post says, manual: 10k pms, hyundai: 5k pms, napakalaking kalokohan ata ito.

With the traffic and dusty conditions in the country, driving in the Philippines is considered severe conditions. What I can’t understand is why the 2 Korean sister brands have very differing PMS requirements for oil change. Hyundai has it at 5k or 3 mos (as mentioned above) while Kia has it at 5k or 6 mos.

Coz Hyundai and kia have different distributors here in the country.
Hyundai is under the notorious HARI.
Kia is under Columbian autocar and has better aftersales support. Hindi lang maganda pricing ng cars nila.

The Phoenix deal was just a rumor, accd to my neighbor, an upper management employed there. What is almost a done deal is Ayala, & this news came from the GSM of a branch. Only thing missing to confirm this is yhe announcement.

10k PMS - synthetic oil (top up after 5K)
    5K PMS - mineral/semi synthetic
